Christmas Day

Toyomi's eyes fluttered open she looked down at Kylie snuggled up under her, she smiled to herself before moving her arm to get up. She yawned loudly walking towards the bathroom to complete her hygiene, Kylie was knocked out snoring under the blanket they were up kind of late.

While Toyomi was in the shower all she could think about was the girl Brea and her claiming to be pregnant by Milan, she snapped out of her thoughts washing up quickly to get out and get dressed. Once she was dressed for the day she packed a bag because she honestly didn't know what her next move was but she knew she wasn't staying in the house with his cheating ass.

Toyomi walked out of the closet with her suitcase fully packed, she dragged it down the stairs leaving it by the front door. She walked into the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea, she heard keys turning in the locks so she knew Milan was home. She heard him go up the stairs probably to check on Kylie, she figured that was her chance to leave before things got ugly.

She washed her cup out grabbed her jacket and car keys before she walked towards the door, Milan didn't see Toyomi upstairs anywhere just Kylie sleeping in the bed he ran downstairs catching her right before she walked out the door "So that's it? You leaving me T?" He grabbed her arm

She heard the hurt in his voice but just looked at him like he was stupid while he talked "What I'ma tell Kylie when she wakes up lookin' for you?" he looked in her eyes they were red and watery but no tears fell. She cleared her throat before snatching her arm back "Tell her congratulations she's gonna be a big fuckin' sister" she opened the front door practically running towards her truck to get the hell away

Milan stood there dumbfounded for a second he really didn't know what she was talking about. He ran after her "Wait T please just talk to me 5minutes, You pregnant?" he tried to stop her from closing her car door "HELL NO, thank god I'm not pregnant by your trifling ass" she started her truck up "But Brea IS though, now move please" she said politely but he didn't listen he was still begging and pleading.

Toyomi was getting frustrated so she slapped the hell out of him he looked at her like she was crazy "Don't call me I'll be back for the rest of my things" she pushed him away closing the door speeding in the opposite direction

Milan walked back in the house closing the door behind him, he was sick to his stomach literally "Good morning Daddy, have you seen Toi?" Kylie startled him, he picked her up and walked towards the tree "You okay Daddy, why is your cheek so red?" Kylie rubbed his cheek

He was stunned Toi really just left him, his mind was all over the place but, he had to pull it together quickly for Kylie "She had an emergency we'll see her later at dinner" he looked down at her face "Now let's open some of these presents princess" he handed her a gift

Tamir was up early on Christmas morning he went to visit his mother and together they went to put flowers on his sister Summer's grave. After breakfast he dropped his mother off back at home and told her come by for dinner later he wanted her to meet Kennedy plus he had her Christmas gift over there too.

When he was done with that he went to pick up Kennedy's real Christmas gift he didn't put under the tree yet. Him and Milan worked hard on this gift together so he was hoping it made her Christmas special. When he got back to the condo Kennedy was already up in the kitchen listening to music while cooking. He placed the gift under the tree before walking back to the kitchen

"Bae come here I wanna give you one of your gifts now" he smiled big "Nope you gave it to me last night, I have a lot of cooking to do this morning since you set me back last night" she grinned at him. He smacked his lips "Not that just come here" he put his hands over her eyes walking her to the Christmas tree "Ready" he asked she could hear him smirking "Yes, just hurry" she fussed

"Merry Christmas Bae" he moved his hands kissing the side of her face she opened her eyes and tears started to pour down her face it was Dominic standing under the tree in Christmas pajamas with a disgusted look on her face and a bow on top of her head "Aye bro don't eva ask me to do some simp shit like this again" Dom rolled her eyes laughing loudly, she held her arms out for Kennedy to give her a hug

Tamir and Milan complained to Casheem all week about how their women were depressed and sad over Dominic being gone, so he called up the best criminal defense attorney he knew in the city Gabriel Greyson to represent Dom.

Gabriel was able to get Dominic home on a $30,000 bail until they decided how they were going to proceed with her case. Tamir and Milan each put up 15k a piece to them Dom was like a sister, and they wanted the girls to be happy for the holidays. Kennedy was overwhelmed with joy just like that she was back in the holiday spirit they tried to FaceTime both Mia and Toyomi but no answer from either one of them. So Dominic went to the kitchen to wash her hands and start helping Kennedy with the feast.

Mia's whole body was in pain when she woke up Casheem was lying next to her in a deep sleep he was exhausted he spent most of the night at the hospital with her. At first she begged him to not take her to the hospital but every time he tried to move her she would cry out in pain. He ended up just making a small compromise with her, and taking her to a hospital in another borough neither one of them frequented

She ended up leaving the hospital really late that night, the doctor prescribed her something for her pain and told her take it easy the next few weeks. Mia's right eye was blacked she had fractured ribs and bruises everywhere, she texted Toyomi telling her everything that happened and asked her to pick Ryder up from Rashadd's mother's house.

She just needed some time to figure out a way to hide the bruises from Ryder she didn't want him to know his father did something like this to her. Toyomi agreed she was excited to be spending time with her godson, she told Mia if she wasn't feeling up to coming to dinner later don't worry about it her and Kennedy would be okay with it. Mia wasn't tryna hear none of that they were already missing one sister so she had to be there she thought to herself

Mia screeched out in pain as she sat up on the side of the bed that woke Casheem out of his sleep instantly "You good" he sat up next to her "Yes, I'm fine" she stood up from the bed as best as she could "I'ma go downstairs and make you somethin' small to put on your stomach so you could take your pain meds" he got out the bed to go in the kitchen.

Mia walked in the bathroom to look in the mirror for the first time after Rashadd beat her, she couldn't believe her eyes he really beat her badly this time. Mia didn't know what to do about anything right now She was just so overwhelmed she started crying again, Casheem walked in the bathroom holding a tea cup and half of raisin bagel with cream cheese

"Aye Mia don't cry" he said putting the cup on the counter "Everything gon' be iight I promise" he pulled her into him for a long hug he rubbed her back she leaned up looking at him he kissed her lips before wiping her tears "You'll help me get ready? I need to go pick up Ryder" she looked up at him "Yea, come on I know lil man looking for you" he gathered everything to set her up for a shower
