A Week Later..

Milan was sitting at the kitchen table looking over Kylie's homework before she ran off to play and watch tv. She sat next to her Daddy breaking down each math problem step by step he was so proud of her "Good job princess, I'm proud of you" he pulled her into a forehead kiss. Kylie put her math worksheet back in her school folder

"Daddy" she said turning to Milan "Yes" he answered her right away staring at some emails on his phone "Have you seen my Uncle Cash he promised me he would pick me up from school yesterday but, he never came" she tilted her head to the side "He never came?" Milan mirrored her last sentence while peeking up from his phone "Nope Mommy was upset" Kylie shrugged her shoulders running off in the direction of her room

Toyomi seasoned up some chicken for dinner placed it in the oven and told Milan to watch it while she took a nap, he agreed. He sat back on the couch chilling actually replying back to some of the emails. His phone started ringing it was Tamir calling "Yooo" Milan yelled into the phone "Wassup" Mir responded "Ain't shit really just goin' over some promotional shit for your mixtape" Milan said

"Yo I really called cause I can't reach Cash you heard from him? He texted me about a show this week but, never answered when I called to confirm" Tamir paused before continuing "He texted my phone earlier talkin' bout he only doin' business over the phone and through email until the show, said he's sick" Tamir couldn't help but laugh he knew Cash was full of shit because even if he was sick he always worked through it "What you mean sick?" Milan questioned "Yea say he got the flu or sum but, listen I'ma send you the final cut of me and Paris song Kennedy gettin' it on the radio tomorrow" Tamir smiled

"iight bet send that" Milan said right before the smoke detector started going off because he forgot all about the chicken in the oven Toyomi came running down the stairs "Milan seriously!!!" Tamir heard her yell in the background

"I'ma let you go bro sounds like you in trouble" Tamir chuckled before hanging up.

"Guess we're having pizza tonight Boo since your Daddy burnt the kitchen up" Toyomi turned to Kylie, she was just standing there giggling at her Daddy pulling the burnt chicken out the oven "Damn I'm sorry y'all... so, Pizza or Chinese?" He smirked pulling out his phone to place an order

Cash went ghost on everyone all week he just wasn't up to being around anybody at the moment so, he lied and said he had the flu. Really he was just chilling at home tryna get over his slight heartbreak he was currently experiencing due to Mia. He looked down at his phone seeing Milan calling him for the 6th time that day he didn't answer he wasn't in the mood to go over the details of his situationship that ended abruptly.

He rolled over in bed to cut the tv off his phone started ringing again this time it was Kylie facetiming him. He answered right away "Babygirl" he looked into the camera at her "Uncle Cash? It's too dark I can't see your face" Kylie smiled into the camera he leaned over the nightstand to turn the light on so, she could see him "Better" he made a funny face sending her into a fit of giggles

"Who you talkin' to Ky" Cash heard Milan question in the background "My Uncle... Why Daddy?" She rolled her eyes at Milan "You better watch that attitude lil girl" Milan gave her a warning look from the doorway

"Aye you betta leave my damn niece alone nigga" Cash chuckled into the phone "Now she ya niece today but, you left my baby stranded yesterday tho" Milan spat "I'm sorry babygirl Uncle was sick, get ready I'll come get you right now" Cash sat up to find something to throw on "Really?!" She squealed in excitement "Yea we could have an ice cream party and I could take you to school in the morning" he pulled his hoodie over his head

Milan turned to Kylie "What about me and Toi? Thought you wanted to watch a movie with us" he put on a fake pout Kylie just ran past him packing her school bag up

"Damn bro first you ignore my calls then you steal my daughter" Milan chuckled in the camera "You know I'd do anything for Ky" Cash grabbed his keys then put on his sneakers to go pick up his niece

1hour later...

Toyomi was lying on the living room floor wrapped up in a blanket talking to Mia and Kennedy on FaceTime "Yea so, I told this nigga watch the chicken and he damn near burnt the house down" Toi laughed into the phone telling the girls about Milan burning dinner "Shit at least he's trying Tamir can't cook to save his damn life but, the dick good tho" Kennedy shook her head laughing out loud

Both Kennedy and Toi laughed in unison but Mia didn't crack a smile "What's wrong Mia?" Toyomi asked tilting her head to the side "I hate it here Toi" Mia paused for a second "Rashadd did all this begging for me to come home just for him to still be doing stupid shit" she shook her head in the camera

Toyomi sat up looking in the camera she honestly didn't know why Mia went back "Mia I love you but-" Toi said into the camera but stopped immediately once Cash entered the room "Wassup T where's Ky?" Cash walked in the living room taking a seat on the couch "Who is that?" Mia's voice came through her ear pod but she ignored the question

"Ooh hey Cash she's just getting her school bag" Toyomi smiled before standing up to go in the kitchen to finish her facetime call "GIRLLL" Milan heard Toyomi say into the phone before laughing loudly. He shook his head walking past the kitchen "Wasupp Bro" Milan dapped Cash up "Ain't shit really I was sick as hell last week" Cash half lied shrugging his shoulders "Nigga since when you get sick?" Milan raised his eyebrow as long as he had known Casheem he never really got sick, maybe once every few years

"Now this" Cash chuckled "I can't get sick now?" Cash said looking directly at Milan. Milan turned to him "Damn I can't be worried about my brother now" Milan threw his hands up in defense with a slight smirk

Kylie came running out just in time with her bags "I'm ready now Uncle" she smiled up at Cash, he took her hand into his as they walked towards the door "Aye don't be having my daughter up all night eating ice cream!" Milan yelled after them after the door closed
