Christmas Night

Around 6pm Kennedy started taking her mac and cheese out of the oven while Dominic set the table in the dining room neither Mia nor Toyomi knew she was home on bail yet it seemed as though they'd been missing in action all day not answering their phones. Milan was already there with Kylie looking like a sad puppy waiting for Toyomi every time the door opened his eyes lit up hoping it was her but, it was just Tamir's dumbass bringing in grocery bags

Kylie was starting to get bored she was the only kid there so far "Uncle Mir can I paint your nails with my new nail kit" Kylie ran up to Tamir in kitchen cheesing showing off her new toy "Maybe you should wait for Uncle Cash he loves gettin' his nails done" Tamir snickered to himself already knowing Cash was gonna be mad as hell he told her that, he picked her up and walked in the living room with Milan

"Nigga why you sittin' in here watchin' the door" Mir looked over to Milan he shrugged he hadn't told anybody that Toyomi left him yet, it had only been a few hours he was hoping she just needed time to herself

Kylie went from Tamir's arms to her Daddy's lap "Daddy where's Toi?" she looked up at him "Idk Baby, she'll be here soon" he shrugged. Milan sat back on the couch watching the basketball game with Mir, they heard the front door open and two voices giggling he looked up from the tv "Wassup ya'll" Milan gave a head nod.  Mia walked in first with big shades covering her eyes, and a turtle neck covering the bruises on her arms and neck Ryder was holding her hand giggling like crazy at whatever she just said to him.

Ryder saw Kylie sitting on the floor coloring and he let Mia's hand go instantly to play with her, those two had become good friends. The door opened again this time it was Toyomi "Merry Christmas!!!" she yelled out cheerfully as she walked in the room behind Mia and Ryder with gifts boxes in her hands. "Sup big head" Mir walked over to Toi helping her put all the boxes under the tree, Kennedy popped her head out the kitchen "Bae, Cash said he's on his way do you need anything" Tamir shook his head no

Tamir put one arm around Mia's shoulder and the other around Toi's shoulder "Aye, why the hell you got shades on Mia ain't no damn sun in here" Mir laughed loudly he had no clue about Mia's little situation which probably was best cause knowing him he might've actually killed Rashadd Mia was like a sister to him now

"Aht Aht mind ya business Mir" Toyomi swatted his hand from Mia's shades he was about to snatch them off "iight bet but come in the kitchen ya'll gift in there" Tamir pointed in that direction "You got us something?" Mia looked at him then Toyomi he shook his head yes "Yea well me and Milan" he pointed to Milan sitting on the couch

"Toi" Kylie squealed in excitement running over to give her a hug "Merry Christmas boo" Toyomi said as she bent down to kiss her forehead. Milan was just sitting there watching Toyomi's every move she never even looked his way it was like he didn't exist to her. Ryder came running out the kitchen towards Mia "Mommy Auntie Dom said come here" he said right before he ran back in the kitchen, Mia and Toyomi looked at him like he was crazy before they both said "Auntie Dom?" in unison. Dominic walked out the kitchen nonchalantly placing a pan of greens on the dinner table "But of course I am the favorite Auntie" she shrugged looking over to both Mia and Toi

The girls squealed in excitement they were so happy to have Dominic home for Christmas "Ya'll could thank ya'll ugly ass men for getting me home" she rolled her eyes smiling "Who man? I'm single" Toyomi shrugged her shoulders rolling her eyes all three girls looked at her like she was crazy after her last statement "Anyway let's not focus on that we'll talk later" Dom said hugging them both

After Dominic set the table beautifully the food was ready Kennedy really did her thing on the baked mac and cheese, greens, candied yams, fried fish, corn bread, and oven roasted herb chicken. Toyomi made her famous peach cobbler for desert and Mia bought a few bottles of wine. Mia said grace and they all sat down at the table to eat, the kids had their own table in the living room by the tv so the adults were able to speak freely
