A Month Later...

It had been a month since Cash saw Mia he was so use to talking to her everyday but, lately he would've been lucky if he got a good morning text back. He didn't know what he could've done wrong other than last month he had to cancel their plans for an out of state show and club appearances with Tamir. Other than that he couldn't think of anything else.

Cash accelerated his speed around the empty track field letting the wind beat down on his face, part of him was trying to out run his feelings for Mia.

"Damn nigga, slow down" Milan breathed heavily trailing behind him. Cash slowed down running backwards "Ain't my fault ya ass outta shape nigga and this is just the warm up" Cash chuckled

"Outta shape?" Milan mirrored his comment "Yea lover boy outta shape" Cash slapped the back of Milan's head before he took off running again. After their 2hour workout Milan and Cash went separate ways for the rest of the day planning on meeting up again later that night for Tamir's video shoot.

On his way home Cash stopped at this new vegan spot up the street from his house he ended up getting loaded vegan nachos with a mango and kale smoothie. Once he was home he took off his sweaty shirt in addition to his sneakers, he was ready to relax and eat.

He kicked his feet up eating his food and watching a college basketball game. Cash looked down at the time on his phone it read 3:30pm he debated  if he should reach out to Mia again. He sent an edible arrangement to her job Friday but, she never called to say thank you like she always did. "Fuck it" he said out loud caving in to text her one more time "Hope you good Pretty Face" he read it 2more times as if it would change before sending it

Once it was sent he stood up to gather all his things for a shower his phone started ringing. He answered immediately thinking it was Mia "Hello" his deep voice echoed through the phone "Where you at Daddy I'm tryna link" Teyana responded "Ayo stop playin on my phone lil girl" he quickly caught an attitude "Don't wanna tell me? Okay I like the chase" she giggled "Man... Bye Teyana" he abruptly hung up shaking his head. It seemed like Teyana was never gonna give up this high school crush she had on Cash and it was starting to annoying the hell outta him

Toyomi was laid flat out on her stomach in the bed with the pillows pulled over her head. Lately she had been feeling tired as hell, here it was a late Saturday afternoon and she was still in bed sleep. The curtain's in the room were closed leaving the room dark and cool just how she liked it. Milan barged through the front door talking business on his phone loudly "Yea most definitely we'll be out that way like next month" his voice echoed through the room as he sat on the edge of the bed to take his sneakers off

Toyomi shifted a little bit under the covers hearing his loud voice fill the room "Shut up" she mumbled under her breath his eyebrows furrowed "Just send the contract we'll review them and go from there" he continued the call for another 15minutes. Once Milan was done he yanked the blanket and sheets off Toi

She screamed "Stop fuckin playin Milan" she pulled the blanket back "Get that ass up I missed you" he smacked her butt making it juggle slightly. Toi yelped loudly "Stoppp I'm tired Babe" she whined "From what? cause you went to sleep on me every night this week" he challenged her with a smile

It was true all Toyomi did was work and sleep that week, she barley ate dinner. She really felt bad because one night she was talking a lot of freak nasty shit to Milan through text he rushed home ready to rearrange her guts only to see her passed out in the bed snoring with her bonnet on. Milan told her he wasn't upset about it her rest was more important than anything

"Milannn" she huffed and puffed "iight I get the hint" he stood up from the bed to go shower off his workout "Sorry Baby tonight I promise" she promised him again for the 20th time that week he chuckled loudly entering their bathroom "Yea iight Ms. Narcolepsy" he yelled back. She rolled over back into the sheets making herself comfortable again

Later that night...

"Mir really nice with this rap shit" Dominic yelled over the music to Kennedy who was rapping the lyrics word for word bobbing her head to the music. Kennedy shook her head in agreement "I know" she blushed setting her eyes on Tamir he was on set for his new video

"Cut!! Everybody take 5" the director yelled

Tamir walked over to Milan who was watching from behind the scenes "How it's lookin" he asked Milan "Everything comin' together" he assured him. The two stood there talking until the director yelled "Set please everyone" making everyone return to their spots. Before he began recording again Kennedy ran onset to fix the video vixen's hair while Dominic freshened up Tamir's look she put together. Kennedy asked Dom to style Tamir for the shoot and she happily agreed Kennedy wanted everything prefect for her man's video

After a few more shots the director said "That's a wrap" everyone clapped and celebrated

Once the shoot was over Tamir kissed Kennedy goodnight turned to Dom said goodbye before him and the guys made their way to a quick studio session for the rest of the night

"Ion know I'm feelin the vibe of the song I just need a female singer on the hook" Mir said to the guys opening the door to the studio "Yea I think that'll bring it together" Cash said making Milan just shake his head in agreement

They walked down the hallway in silence checking their phones. Tamir's head popped up quickly from his phone once he heard something like an angelic voice almost reminded him of Jhene Aiko "Who is that! That's the voice I need" Tamir said turning to Milan "Hell yea but, you can't just barge in on someone else's stu session" he shrugged

"Why I can't this is my studio" Tamir quickly responded to Milan before he walked up to the door pushing it open the room was dimly lit with candles it smelled like shorty was smoking too she seemed to be in her zone

Tamir cleared his throat "Yo excuse me" he yelled over the music the engineer turned down the music in her headphones "What the hell Gram" the girl flipped the light switch

"PARIS?!" Tamir's face full of shock the guys walked in right behind him just as amazed "What Mir you told me last weekend I could use this room remember?" She quickly got defensive "Nothin, Damn relax" Tamir threw is hands up in defense as she walked out the booth "Why you ain't tell me ya peanut head ass had that voice" Milan mushed his sister "Cause all you ever wanna talk about is school Mill" she rolled her eyes "What's up I was too loud or something?" She mugged all three of them

"Actually I want you to come across the hall and lay down a track with me" Tamir came right out with it "OMG Mir like for real y'all not playing right" she smiled wide "Nah ion play with my craft I'm deadass, heard ya voice and it's prefect for my song" Mir shrugged "Please Mill can I do it" she turned to her big brother begging "For sure I'm tryna hear more of this hidden talent" Milan put his arm over her shoulder walking them in the direction of Tamir's session

Two hours went by they were still perfecting the song making sure the mix was right. Milan sat back in awe by his baby sister's professionalism and talent "This shit is a fuckin' hit" Cash bobbed his head to the music "For sure we gotta get started on the promo for it" Milan said to Cash and he shook his head agreeing

"Told you I like the chase Daddy" Teyana leaned down in Cash's ear. Her and Lauren decided to stop by to hear what Paris was putting together for her R&B mixtape but, they were pleasantly surprised when they arrived and Paris was in the middle off a session with Tamir

"Get off me lil girl" Cash shook her off his shoulders she smirked "Play nice" Teyana said seductively. Milan stood up from his seat "Yo Mir it's gettin' late Wifey wild'n" he yelled out to Tamir letting out a small chuckle because Toyomi was texting him bring his ass home "Nah hold up I'm out too" Tamir grabbed his things "Aye bro when you finish mixing that shit send it" Cash turned to the engineer "Bet" Boobie said dapping them all up before he got back to work

Paris walked back to her session to finish up her song "Don't be telling Mommy either" she pointed at Milan he just looked at her "Bye ugly, see you at Sunday dinner" he said to her

"Call me later Baby" Teyana smiled wide at Cash he just kept walking out the door with Tamir not entertaining her. The guys called the it a night going separate ways
