It's a Celebration...

Later that night

Kennedy and Tamir's mothers went over and beyond with the venue decorations everything looked amazing from the table center pieces to the beautiful cake they ordered. They were both excited and nervous to tell their best friends they decided to just tie the knot privately. Tamir told Kennedy she was being too dramatic that they were gonna be happy for them but, she insisted on obsessing over it anyway

"Bae you think I should change?" Kennedy asked Tamir "Hell nah I wanna be the one to take you out that dress" he kissed her lips twice 

Mia was glad Rashadd offered to stay home and spend time with Ryder that worked out prefect because Toi called and told her Keisha was being a bitch, she stormed over to get Kylie until Milan's days the following week without explanation. So, she guessed it was a kid free night 

She walked into the dinner party dressed to kill last time she was caught off guard but, this time if she had to sit through another awkward dinner with Cash, she at least wanted to look good. 

"Bitchhh!!! Well excuse me Miss Mamas" Dom walked up to Mia smiling they were the only two there so far. The doors were closed to the main area but the bar was open for cocktail hour while they waited "I could say the same thing about you ma'am" Mia blushed 

It was the truth Dominic did look good she had on a grey blazer dress with a deep v for cleavage, open toe red Gucci strapped heels, neutral makeup with a red lip. Her hair was bone straight with a part in the middle 

"Wooow look at this place I thought this was a small dinner" Dominic looked around at the decor it was elegant and classy "What if she's gonna tell us she's pregnant" Mia looked at Dom and they both burst out laughing at the thought because Kennedy was known for loving the kids and giving them back where they came from immediately. 

The two girls drank while chatting it up waiting for everyone else to get there. Paris arrived next with Faith they too were amazed by the decor of the venue "Mommy what kind of announcement you think Mir has for all of us?" Paris asked Faith "I don't know Baby we'll see soon" she smiled 

"Girl I'll be back, I'ma use the bathroom to check in on Ryder" Mia walked to the bathroom to make the call 

Milan and Toi showed up next holding hands looking sneaky in the face "Y'all nasty" Dominic walked up to them laughing already knowing why they were late from the group chat text the girls had "Mann chill" Milan blushed shaking his head. Everyone started to mingle and drink amongst each other wondering what this announcement could be about.

"You ready Boo" Lashontae asked looking over at Cash who was in the driver's seat staring out the window. When he pulled up, he was more than ready, then he seen Mia's Jeep and felt all kinds of feelings that felt weird "Yea I'm ready" he opened his door she followed doing the same thing before taking his hand into hers 

Once Cash arrived, they were all brought into the main room to be seated for dinner. Everyone looked around it was so gorgeous they were so distracted at the moment they hadn't even noticed Tae on Cash's arm at first 

"This nigga must have some big news, cause this shit is..." Milan started to say before Cash cut him off "Kenn gotta be pregnant" he looked at the large center piece that was made out of crystals and flowers in front of him "You think so?" Milan raised his brow 

Right when he was about to answer Tae grabbed his face for a kiss. Dominic cleared her throat before sipping her champagne Toyomi gave her the eye from across the table to be nice 

Rashadd finally let Mia off the phone after questioning and accusing her of everything under the sun. Lately since she'd been taking more interest in herself going to the gym, getting hair and nails done every week he had been acting really insecure. She walked into the Cocktail room nobody was there she heard sounds of music and laughter coming from the two big door that were once closed 

Cash looked up watching Mia walking through the door he couldn't take his eyes off her as she walked to the table. She looked good in her grey off the shoulder ruched dress that hugged her body perfectly, with her newly dyed honey blonde loose beach wave curls bouncing from side to side. He looked down at her feet to see her shoe game which was always on point she had on white alexander wang strap heels with the clutch to match. He had to stop himself from staring

"Boo did you hear me?" Tae grabbed his chin to look at her "Yea I heard you" he lied clearing his voice looking at her 

"What's up y'all" Mia walked around the table to kiss Toi's cheek before sitting next to Dom "Yess Mimi come through with the new color" Toyomi hyped her up it was her first-time seeing Mia's new color. Mia laughed 

"I love that watch girl" Tae said pointing to Mia's wrist making her look down at the watch Cash bought her months ago "Girl this old thing" Mia laughed "Thank you though" Mia said to Tae 

Cash was dumbfounded Mia was acting so different tonight "What's up Mia" he looked in her direction "How you doin' Casheem" she replied quickly before turning her attention to Milan "Ryder said thank you for the sneakers" she smiled "No doubt that's my guy" Milan smiled 

Before the conversation really started taking off at the table the lights dimmed the door opened in walked Kennedy and Tamir holding hands smiling. Everyone at the table gasped at how beautiful Kennedy looked in her gown Tamara and Shelly started crying tears of happiness they were holding each other's hands "Girl stop that" Tamara waved Shelly off and she laughed  "Our girls really grown now" Shelly said before turning her attention back to the bride and groom

"So, we asked you all here today to help us celebrate Kenn now being my fine ass wife" Tamir held up his champagne glass with a smile looking down at her face everybody at the tabled clapped and roared in excitement. "So, it's Mrs. Jacobs to these hoes" Kennedy laughed showing off her rings "Now that we got that out the way let's celebrate" Kennedy took a sip from her champagne the Dj cut up the music and the party started 

Later that night....

Milan walked over to Mir dapping him up "Congratulation's brother" he said and Tamir couldn't stop smiling "I'm really a married man now, for real" he chuckled "You just make sure you remember that when we touring and shit" Milan gave him a knowing look. Cash walked up with Tae right on his heels he hugged Tamir then mushed him "Congrats Baby boy" Cash smiled

"I'ma go get some cake want some?" Tae asked him getting the hint the men needed a moment alone "Nah in a little bit" Cash looked at her walk away in the direct of the cake before focusing his eyes on Mia in the center of the dance floor with Kennedy shaking her hips to the music, she looked good and he was feeling that blonde on her.

He walked away from the guy's mid conversation to go try to talk to Mia, Milan and Tamir looked at each other shaking their heads. "Man, he better not start no shit in here on my wedding day" Mir fussed "Yea, he bold as fuck in here right now" Milan agreed 

He walked up on Mia by the bar "What's up with you can we talk real quick?" Cash asked her Mia stared at him blankly "Umm nah I don't think that's a good idea but, you look good though" she shrugged before walking off in the direction of the girls. Cash felt weird as hell this was the first time a woman ever dismissed him but, he felt he deserved that from the last time they seen each other he didn't even speak. For the rest of the party Mia turned her savage up while Cash watched her from a far hugged up with Lashontae. 

The girls were taking pictures with the photographer when Gabe walked up to congratulate Kennedy "Congrats Mrs. Jacobs" he kissed her cheek and handed her a check as a wedding gift then waved at the girls standing behind her "Miss Colors" he gave her a head nod she smirked shyly before waving he smiled walking away towards the groom
