Gyda instinctively latched onto Billy, her eyes tearing up at the thought of the person that killed her best friend a month ago. "Please don't let him kill you," she murmured to Billy, not knowing if she could take it if Billy was murdered in front of her. "I won't, darling. I promise," he said, the two too caught up in the moment to realise he called her 'darling' automatically.

Reactively, Gyda pressed herself into Billy, her hands gripping his shirt. "Go away, man. You don't want to take another step forward," Billy warned, glaring at the murdering psychopath in front of the two of them. Instead of listening to the brunette, the guy covered in a costume took a step forward into the room.

The boy in front of her charged forward without a second thought, Gyda having to let go to do so. "Billy, no!" She shouted out, her hand going to her mouth immediately as Billy was pushed aside as if he was nothing but a sack of potatoes and the mystery man stalked towards Gyda.

"Go away, I don't want you anywhere near me," Gyda grumbled out, her eyes narrowed slightly. She fought back the visible tears that threatened to spill over her eyelids. The figure didn't even say anything, only continued to make his way to her.

The white-haired female's eyes widened as Billy came up from behind the person and wrapped his rather slender arm around the masked killer's neck. Gyda jumped onto her bed, declaring herself less of a victim for a minute as she gazed around the room to find something that could potentially help injure the murderer.

Spotting an umbrella in the corner of the room, but it was right behind the two men. Pulling herself together, she took in a deep breath just as Billy was yet again thrown off of the masked human being and hit his head on the doorframe.

"Billy!" With a newfound confidence, Gyda dived off of the side of the mattress and headed for the black and white item that just laid there, waiting desperately to be used. Feeling the murderer grab her ankle, her reaction was to swing back with the umbrella and hit the man on the face.

So, she did.

She hit the man right in the middle of their head, causing him to let go and groan, holding the side of his head. "That's for murdering my best friend," Gyda hissed out, raising the umbrella again and whacking him on the other side.  "That's for giving me a concussion and all the other bruises."

A loud bark was heard surrounding the house and Gyda smirked, the sound of her dog's pounding feet scampering down the hall as fast as he could. The man behind the mask coward near the window, raising his arms up in defeat whilst Harley just growled and snapped his jaws closed, missing the man by an inch.

The masked man struggled to open the window as Gyda called her dog back. As much as she wanted to let Harley go and have him viciously attack the serial killer, she didn't want her puppy to be put down.

He wasn't even a year old. He didn't have his full height or strength to him, so the killer would have and could have gotten the upper hand if it were down to it. "Come on, Harley," she murmured, looking around for Billy.

She couldn't find him where he was at the doorframe seconds before. "Where's Bi-" She watched as Billy appeared out of nowhere in front of the masked murderer and pushed him out of the window.

Her mouth opened in shock at the scene. She didn't think Billy had the strength or capability to do that. She couldn't even do that, and not because she wasn't strong enough. The female had morals, believe it or not.

And possibly seriously harming or killing another person was not one of the morals that she was with. "Billy!" She scolded, looking through the window to see the killer gone. "Where did he go?" She hummed, looking to a dishevelled Billy who looked at her with shock.

"You'd care for a guy that murders people?" Gyda immediately shook her head. "Definitely not. Especially since he murdered my best friend in cold blood. No, I have common sense and a heart. I won't reincorporate what he did to me, to him. That's wrong."

"It was either we all died, or he was injured. Which one did you prefer? Because I am pretty sure you didn't see the knife he was pulling out on your dog over there," Billy argued, jabbing a thumb at a restless Harley, who began sniffing around the room.

The Australian realised that she was in the wrong and her shoulders slumped in defeat. "Sorry, Bills. I didn't mean to get upset with you like that, I know you were just trying to help. I am just relieved that you are safe and not severely hurt."

At the mention of wounds, her eyes almost gauged out of her head. "I am a terrible friend! Show me your head! Immediately! Go to the bathroom and wait there whilst I grab the needed stuff and a mobile phone. We are going to need to call the cops."

Billy could tell that this teenager really didn't mess around when it came to injuries or calling someone. "Yes, ma'am." Gyda gave him a small smile before she ushered him to her abjointed bathroom. "I'll be right there, just give me a second."

Bounding down the stairs three at a time, the tall girl grasped the kitchen surface as her eyes raked over the cabinets, mentally remembering what was in them so she didn't have to go looking through every one.

"Cups, plates, utensils, tea-towels, dishwasher," she numbered off the cabinets as she went, spotting a cupboard above the microwave. "Bingo." Pulling a chair from the dining room to the kitchen was rather loud, and unnecessary, but she needed to reach the cupboard to get the supplies she needed.

Grabbing random medicines and then put it back was what she seemed to be doing for the next five minutes before her arms were full with what she actually needed to bring up as soon as she could. The white-haired young adult placed it on the bench and put the chair back, using a broom to close the cupboard doors that were out of reach for her before turning her focus on all the different medication that was placed out on the bench.

Time to get to work.
