Gyda regretted saying that as soon as her mouth opened.
Billy's facial expression showed hurt, and she hated that she still felt something for the brunette despite knowing what he had done to their friends and was still going to do to her and Sidney.
She forced herself to look away, glaring at the wall instead of the male who seemed oh so innocent and pure over the last few months of her being in a different country.
"Gyda, I can explain," he whispered, eyes soft and almost caring - the same way he used to look at her when they were at each other's house all alone and having the time of their lives.
Gyda chewed on her bottom lip in despair, uncomfortable with the look he was giving her - no longer seeing that expression as sincere and instead a manipulative tactic he has been using on her the entire time.
"That you're a killer on the loose, Billy? There's no need to explain anything," she responded, her voice cracking at the end as she gripped at her arm nervously - the scar on her eyebrow and jaw feeling uncomfortably irritable as her eyebrows narrowed as she realised the extent of their murders.
"You killed Cassie, Billy," she continued, her fear growing along with her anger and grief - her best friends had killed someone she held so dearly. "Why would you do that, huh? She didn't have a mother who so called slept with your dad," she spat out, clenching her fists.
"She did nothing wrong and you still killed her."
Billy didn't say anything, only stared at the blue eyes of the person he had felt himself growing an obsession to, not wanting to cause her any further harm or pain.
"Maternal abandonment causes serious deviant behaviour, certainly fucked you up. It made you have sex with a psychopath," Billy spat, breaking eye contact to see Sydney's teary eyes with an unapologetic expression.
"That's right. You gave it up. Now you're no longer a virgin," Stu said with glee, giggling into his fingers like a child and Gyda frowned - knowing what had already been done by an assumption, but confirming it only made it stab the pain further in.
"Now you gotta die," Stu declared, pointing his gun just as Billy grabbed Sydney in a headlock and held the knife out to Gyda in a threatening way - not wanting her to run and ruin it all despite his obvious care for her. "Those are the rules."
"Just pretend it's all a scary movie, Syd," Billy mused, curling his hand around Sydney's hair and distractingly used his other hand to move around.
"Now this, this is the fun part," Stu muttered, the crazed look in his eye blaring with life as he moved into the closet and pulled a very familiar figure from inside.
The white-haired female clenched her hands by her side, chewing on her bottom lip anxiously as she blocked out what they were saying to them both - only focusing on the scene and when a possible escape could be.
She came back into focus when Billy turned around and pricked Stu with the knife - the knife must've gone in deeper than thought of as Stu groaned out and whined a little about the pain. 'Maybe, if you were normal and not a psycho, you wouldn't be in pain right now,' she thought, eyes widening as Stu pushed forward and did the same back to Billy.
Not only were they raging psychopathic killers, they were raging psychopathic manipulators.
Billy hurled himself on the bench, taking a deep breath each time to gather the strength to fight off the pain - and against her caring nature, the Australian knew that the time was now or never.
Gyda pursed her lips before shoving past the two psychos - grabbing a hold of Sydney's wrist and tugging her along.
"Run!"
