The Australian was forced to come back to school by Billy, who declared he needed her to fulfill her promise of getting that hug the whole break time. Surprisingly, to the transfer student, Billy admitted that he concentrates better knowing she was in school somewhere where he could access and give her a hug whenever she needed it.

Sighing, the white-haired female launched herself into Histoty where Stu, Sidney, and Tatum were already sitting down. A surprised look appeared on all three teenagers, and Stu immediately moved over so she could sit beside him. "Morning," she greeted, as if nothing happened. Sidney rose an eyebrow, but went along with it.

"Morning. Whilst the teacher isn't here, do you want to start copying the stuff you missed?" Gyda looked to Sidney and nodded softly, grabbing the passing book. "And I've got all the spare sheets for you to put in that folder of yours," Tatum added.

Gyda smiled at the two girls gratefully. She surely would've failed if she didn't have these two with her. "Why do you have a folder for sheets? Just glu it in?" Stu's voice anchored towards the exchange student, who laughed slightly. "It's so I can keep track of where they all are. If it is in a book, I'll eventually need a new one, and the sheets would be lost inside the old one."

The teacher came in just at Gyda wrote down the last sentence needed for her in history, gliding it back to its owner, mouthing 'thank you' as she did. "Welcome back, Class. I hope you enjoyed yesterday." The Australian closed her eyes, hoping to not focus on what happened at her house hours ago.

Eventually, the bell went, and since it was fourth period, it was finally lunch time. Tickling Tatum's side, Stu smiled fondly at all three girls. "I can't believe they still haven't found the killer? Halloween is like three months away. I hope they find the person responsible soon." The chatter about the killer in the hallway didn't die down in the cafeteria, it only seemed to get worse.

Her blue eyes gazed around the room like a deer caught in headlights. This has almost turned into her nightmares. Her breathing became heavy, and the only thing she seemed to be able to do was find a table for them. Like usual, there wasn't any left. "I'll sit on the fountain, where we usually sit." Gyda didn't let them respond before turning around and running back down the hall.

She had to get out of there. It was too overwhelming for her to ignore it. "I shouldn't have come today," she muttered to herself, gazing into the clear water of the school's fountain. "Then you wouldn't get to hug me," the familiar voice of Billy rung through her ears as shs turned her head to the side.

Immediately, the tall female was engulfed into a hug. At first, she tensed, but recognising who it was made her relax and wrao her arms around his torso. Closing her eyes, Gyda's breathing slowed down to a point where she was now calm, resting her head on his shoulder. "Let's sit down, shall we?" The two manouvered so they were still hugging, but were now sitting on the water statue, Billy's back pressed against the fountain whilst Gyda's back pressed against his.

Resting his head on top of her's, Billy put both arms around her waist, having then sit on her stomach. Instinctively, Gyda's hands went over his, ignoring the butterflies in her stomach and the small tingling sensation that went through her fingertips. As they sat in silence, Gyda's thoughts went back to potential kiss that not only could have ruined their friendship, but his relationship with Sidney.

"Hey, Billy?" He hummed in response, his fingers intertwining with her's subconsciously. "We will always be friends, right?" Gyda could feel him tense up at the mention of 'friends' and she frowned. '𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬?' she thought, ignoring the pain in her chest at the thought of losing him. She couldn't lose him. Not after what he's done to help her. She needed to at least return the favour somehow.

"Yeah, we will always be friends." The Australian didn't hear the uncertainty in his voice, nor the dark, dangerous, almost murderous look in his gaze. He wanted her to be his. He needed her to be his. But Sidney was stopping either of them to make a move. Billy wasn't a cheater, even if he didn't like her, and Gyda definitely wasn't a 'I'm gonna steal your man' type of person.

Sidney was spotted in the distance, a scowl on her face when she saw the interlocked hands. Almost as if she was ashamed, she removed her hands from Billy's, but didn't move from her position. She was intending on fullfilling her promise to the boy behind. "Hey, Sid." The brunette couldn't be mad at the Australian.

She didn't know what was too far to be seen as 'romantic' since she never really was in a relationship. "Hey, Gyda. I brought the two of you some food." Handing down the two containers to the Australian, she took this chance to smooch her boyfriend, who kissed back. Gyda saw from the corner of her eye, and winced. The pang of jealousy entered the exchange student's thoughts, but shs quickly shooed them away.

Even if Billy did return her feelings, she would be going back to her home country at the end of the year, and probably won't be back for a long time. He might even forget her. Gyda shrugged the thought of him liking her back from existance, because he clearly had a girlfriend he adored.

She could tell because of a certain thing protruding through his jeans. Gyda coughed awkwardly, interrupting the kiss with Billy's food in hand. "Sorry, to uh, interrupt, but your food will get cold if you don't eat it." Billy looked to see that her face was flushed red in embarrassment, and knew that she could feel exactly what was happening to him. He only smirked, taking the container off of her and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Thank you."

Gyda didn't know whether he was thanking her for the food, or for the fact that she hasn't moved to reveal the little tent in his pants to everyone in public. "Do you mind if we switch over?" Sidney asked, pleading with her friend and boyfriend.

"No."

"Yes."
