The next morning I woke up early to start on the girl's breakfast. I don't like it when the maids do it, it's always bland. I strolled into the kitchen seeing Mathias's torso stretched across the counter as he drug through the cabinets for whatever he needed. He was shirtless...

"Wow..." What a body man.

"Oh! Good morning Joanna" He greeted once the cabinet was closed and he could now see me. "Good morning...No work today?"

He grinned almost a bit childishly "Nope, day off."

"The girls are gonna love that"

I walked further into the kitchen "Are you cooking breakfast?" "Ah...I wouldn't say cooking."

There were four bowls with silver spoons in them. A box of cheerios in Mathias's hand, I guess that's what he was reaching for... He made me a bowl too- that's nice...

I had to remind myself not to stare. He's my damn boss!

" I don't know how to cook..." he spoke sheepishly, his bicep flexing as he scratched the back of his head. "I could make something if you'd like" "Are you sure?"

"How's breakfast burritos sound?"

"Delicious."

Mathias

I sat on the counter watch Joanna take out the ingredients from the fridge. She's gotten more comfortable with me. A few weeks ago she hated my guts "Once I finish scrambling the eggs, You can help me wrap the burritos."

"Sí"

"I'm hungry!" Emilia came running into the kitchen and pause at the door once she saw me on the counter. Due to work I never really got to see my girls in the mornings. "Buongiorno" I hummed, she came running over. "Buongiorno!" (Good morning) I picked her up and pulled her onto my lap. "Morning Joanna wha are you making?" Emilia buried her face in my neck, and I ran my fingers through her blonde hair "Breakfast burritos!"

"Where's your sister Principessa?" "Sleep...Papa, you smell good" Milia sniffed me making me chuckle. "Thank you silly girl" I gave her a fleet of kisses on the warm chubby cheeks. "What should we do today Principessa?"

"Stay home." "Non vuoi andare da nessuna parte? " "No!" (You don't want to go anywhere?) "What would we do? Hmm?"

She pushed off my chest and looked up at me "At home stuff" "God you look like your mother" I mumbled under my breath pinching her cheeks. "nuh-uh!" She slapped my hand away from her face. "What do you mean nuh-uh?"

"The eggs are done!"

Joanna scurried around grabbing four plates and setting up small food stations so we could build our burrito. Eggs, bacon, sausage, veggies, and cheese among a few other things.
The sausage smelt great the eggs looked fluffy...I think I'll have to ask Joanna to cook more often.

"Yay!" The little toddler made grabby hands towards Joanna. Joanna took her while putting plates on the counter. "Since Miss. Elena is still asleep, you can make both yours and hers."

"Yes"

We made our breakfast burritos and woke up Elena before we ate. Eating at the counter, the girls babbled to each other in their chairs about who knows what. Joanna just stared in a daze at them with a warm smile. "Ahh..." Elena mumbled to Joanna feeding her a piece of bacon. "Mm! Thank you, missy" Joanna leaned over giving Elena a big kiss on her cheek.

My heart throbbed at the sight... "Papa?" "Yes?!" I snapped out of my own daze. "Say ahh!"
She held a piece of bacon to my lips. "Thank you, Principessa." I took the piece before feeling a weird small warm sensation on my feet...

(What the fuck !?)
"Che cazzo !? " Mathias shouted abruptly getting off his chair and looking down. "Bad word..." Emilia frowned at her father. "I'm sorry baby," he bent down and brought up a little brown ball. "He was bitting my toes..."

"Eww!" "Tito we have to brush your teeth!" The twins groaned "We can do that later, I thought we'd go swimming for a bit" He spoke softly to the twins. "Yes!" "Swimming!"

"Will you be joining us, Joanna?"

"Are you sure? I wouldn't wanna impose-"

"Nonsense. we'd love for you to join us..."

"Sunscreen!"

Mathias and I sat at the edge of the pool, I wore the same bathing suit I wore at the girls' party Mathias was of course shirtless again and had simple black swim shorts.

The twins were currently slapping dollops of sunscreen on their father's back in their matching blue and green swimsuits. I couldn't help but laugh seeing they even managed to get it in his hair. Mathias just took it " Faccia papa! " Emilia hummed slapping and rubbing in the sunscreen on his face. He closed his eyes and grinned...

" I think Joanna needs some sunscreen as well Principesse" Emilia stopped so did Elena. (Princesses) Mathias popped open an eye as the girls made their way over to me. It was then my turn...

We all found ourselves floating on our backs. All but Elena who laid on top of her father's chest arms behind her head, with her feet crossed. Emilia floating all on her own.

The water felt so good, the sun beamed down on us. "Would you like for me to prepare drinks master Ponte d'acqua?" Cedric had come out and asked "Lemonade please, Cedric" "Yes sir."

Cedric came back with a serving tray of ice-cold lemonade. I swam to the edge putting Emilia on top "Thanks" Emilia hummed chugging a cup of lemonade.

(Lemonade!)"Limonata!" Elena made it as if she was swimming on the water as her father held her up by the back of her vest right above the water. Mathias had brushed against me as he put Elena by her sister taking a cup as well.

"How's swimming girls?"

"Good!" "You should swim Cedric!"

He gave the girls a hardy laugh "I'm quite alright girls. Just call if you need anything!"

The day went as expected, great. After swimming we turned on the sprinklers and played in the yard with tito.

The girls jumped on my bed freshly bathed and in their pj's all ready for bed. I held tito watching the two hyper children "You both still aren't tired?" Mathias stood at my door frame his blonde hair a darker shade due to it being wet, guessing he just came out of the shower.

"Papa! Can we sleep in your bed?" Elena asked as she stopped jumping and laid on her back.

"I have to get up early in the morning"

"I haff tuh guh tuh up erly in the morning" Elena mocked her father, he squinted his eyes at her. She just giggled and rolled over to me. Elena was definitely a troublemaker in the making.

"Please!" Emilia added in a whine. "And Joanna has to come too!"
