"Stalking me now are we, King?" I questioned with sarcasm prominent in my voice. I opened the bathroom door, coming to face the raven-haired boy in front of me.

"I thought that was Suzuki's bedroom, I didn't know he had floors in his house that were identical." Kageyama scoffed.

"Lost?" I asked to which he just nodded at.
It was a cute nod and it looked like he was about to say something but he didn't.

"What?" I asked him, suddenly feeling intrigued.
He just looked at me for a moment before shaking his head, "Nothing." he responded, casting his eyes to the ground.
... He always does this.

"You were gonna say something. I wanna know what it was." I insisted.
"Earlier... why did you come outside? When it was raining." he asked.
I thought for a second. I didn't really know, he was just there in the rain by himself.
"Dunno." I shrugged.
He just nodded and shifted his weight, "Sorry for kissing you. It was hypocritical. And you have a girlfriend."

"Not anymore."
"Oh?" his eyes met mine again, probably checking for truth in my statement.
"Yeah." I responded.
"Well I'm sorry."
"Why are you sorry?" I asked
"You're probably upset about it, the breakup."
"Not really." I shrugged.
"Oh?" he asked.
"Yeah.."
It got a bit awkward for a second as we both went silent.

"Did you like it?" he asked, staring into my eyes this time.
"Like what?"
"The kiss..." he asked quite hesitantly.

I stayed quiet, thinking of an answer to his question. I didn't want to come across in the wrong way. Of course I liked it. Do I just say yes? What doe-

"Sorry. I shouldn't have asked that..." he began, shaking his head, "it was a dumb question, and you just got out of a relationship and i asked it. You don't need to answer that it was insensitive and-"
I cut him off by pulling his chin towards me and simply looking at him.

He looked tired, yet perfect. His skin was still soft and taken care of. His hair was neat, falling back into place after I combed my fingers through it before they travelled down to his face and behind his ear, outlining his jaw with my thumb. His navy blue eyes had a slight glisten that was like a torch in the dark which refused to go out.
He was perfect.

But I didn't deserve perfect.

I dropped my hand from his face and his breath hitched. "We should probably go back the the others." I suggested.
"Oh. Yeah of course." he responded, voice laced with disappointment.

We walked back into Suzuki's bedroom with me leading the way. As soon as we got there I heard shuffling in the room and opened the door to find something buried under all three beanbags with the spiky haired boy sitting on top of it all, looking accomplished.
"Are you sitting on Suzuki?" Kageyama asked, expressing a face of concern, to which the grinning boy just nodded at.

"Can he breathe?" I asked.
"All I can breathe are his farts!" I heard Suzuki's voice yell, muffled from the concerning position he was in.

After a lot of persuasion, we finally got Isayama to agree to freeing Suzuki, and it had almost come to the end of our study session after an hour or so later. We did pretty decent work so I didn't mind the fact that I stayed longer than expected. It wasn't a big deal.

"Guys tomorrow we're going to mine, but come at 7pm and wear nicer clothes jocks. Hope you don't have practice again tomorrow?" Isayama asked.

Kageyama scratched the back of his head, "Why that much later?" he questioned.
"And the clothes thing..." I added.
"Because I say so now bye!" The spiky haired boy squealed like a child before pushing us out of the room with full adult-like force.

"That was weird." Kageyama shrugged.
I just nodded, pulling my headphones out of my bag and putting them around my neck. I could feel the setter watching me as I did this, suggesting that he was confused as to why I was doing so.

Did he want to talk about something? I thought, hand still on the earmuff of my headphones. I glanced sideways at him and he wasn't watching me anymore, just looking downwards at the floor he was about to step on, so I put the muffs on each ear and started playing my music.

"Perverted" by the American singer, Elita, started playing loudly. I was pretty good at English, so I knew most of what she was saying -which was all rather concerning but I liked the tune.

'do you really wanna know what i like?'

I noticed Kageyama had slowed down his pace of walking and turn to go down a road at the left.
He doesn't live that way...

I pulled my headphones off and grabbed his arm, "Where are you going?"
He looked at me for a moment before sighing, "I said I was going to see some friends before I go to my house."
"Oh." My hand was still on his arm.
"Yeah," he nodded, "bye."

"Which friends are you going to see?" I asked, before looking at the sky, it was going to be dark soon.
"You won't know them. They aren't from our school." he replied rather lazily, stifling a yawn.

"If you're tired you should go home." I said quite quickly, "The sun has set."
"So what? No ones waiting for me in mine." He shrugged his arm out of my grasp and began to walk down the road I was unfamiliar with.

I looked at my watch, it was 8:10pm. He was right, the bitter truth was that no one was waiting for him at his.

I continued walking in the direction of both mine and Kageyama's homes. We lived less than a 10 minute walk away from each other as we were both quite close in the prefecture.

I got home not long after, and walked up the stairs quickly before collapsing onto my bed.

I couldn't tell how long I had been sleeping for but the sound of my phone beeping loudly woke me.

I picked it up and squinted my eyes as the brightness was that high, the time read 1:38am. Scrolling to the notifications center, I re-adjusted my glasses that I wore whilst sleeping and then my finger froze.
