ʙʀʏɴɴᴇ [ʙ-ʀ-ɪʜ-ɴ] / ʀʏɴ [ᴘʀᴏɴᴏᴜɴᴄᴇᴅ: ʀ-ɪʜ-ɴ ᴏʀ ʀᴇɪɢɴ]

Brynne was warped in her favorite yellow, grey, and white v-stripped fluffy blanket when her apartment doors opened without a warning. She had gotten accustomed to having Alec be the one to walk into her home without knocking and her heart couldn't help but flutter at the thought of him coming back to her.

It wasn't Alec who walked through her doors, instead, it was a redhead that made her feel like a bad friend for not reaching out to see if alive or not. After the initial shock of seeing Clary standing before her alive and well, meaning she'd found Madzie, Brynne's eyes moved to the warlock with black veins imprinted on her body.

Knowing Magnus should be informed about Dot's presence Brynne calls him over and in doing so he takes over creating the medicine that was to help the warlock laying on the yellow sofa.

"There you go," Magnus softly says moving the empty vile from Dot's lips, "You'll start feeling better in no time."

"Thank you," Dot whispers mustering a slight nod as Luke, Clary, Jace, and Brynne stood behind Magnus waiting for more information

"Dot, tell us everything you know," Clary tiredly states

While Magnus had been preparing the medicine to heal Dot, Clary caught Brynne up on what happened. Starting with Valentine kidnapping Simon and ending with Dot being the only one left in Valentine's lair with the answers they were looking for to stop Valentine.

Dot still laying on the couch answers, "I heard Valentine briefing his men. If Jace touches the Sword, his grip would destroy it"

"Me?" Jace asks in disbelief that he shared with everyone in the room

"Why should we believe a word she says?" Luke asks standing away from the couch, "It's probably just another trap."

"Luke, Clary, you know me," Dot states knowing she didn't need to get the warlocks to trust her

With crossed arms, Clary looks down at Dot, "You've lied to me before."

"Because of the injections," Dot explains "But now that he has the warlock girl, he's cast me aside. I'm myself again."

Luke couldn't help but scoff, "Good story, but I've heard better."

"Wait" Jace speaks up his mind on the news and not on trust, "In the vision from Ithuriel, the demon that destroyed the Sword had a clawed hand."

"Exactly. It has nothing to do with you," Clary states glancing up at Jace

"We can take look if you show us the vision," Brynne suggests making the siblings turn to face the warlocks before moving before them

Magnus holds one hand against Clary's head while Brynne holds up her hands against Jace's. The shadowhunters close their eyes while the warlocks start to speak in Latin and once the spell is said their eyes turn white.

In the vision, the warlocks are able to see a cloaked figure destroying the Sword in a green field with a star shining behind stormy clouds. Being pulled out of the vision the two warlocks know what they had missed when given the vision

"The star in the sky," Magnus mumbles looking into the distance

"Yeah, I remember," Clary says looking between the warlocks who were still recovering from what they saw
