ʙʀʏɴɴᴇ [ʙ-ʀ-ɪʜ-ɴ] / ʀʏɴ [ᴘʀᴏɴᴏᴜɴᴄᴇᴅ: ʀ-ɪʜ-ɴ ᴏʀ ʀᴇɪɢɴ]

Brynne walks over to Magnus' apartment expecting his door to be unlocked but when she tries to turn the knob it was locked making her eyebrow furrow. She was about to knock when her phone starts to ring making her take a step back and answer it

"Hey," Brynne answers lightly

"Hey, look, I know last night was rough, but, um, I need your help tracking Azazel," Alec answers walking down the street and making his way to the apartment already

"Uh yeah," Brynne replies distantly running a hand through her hair, "just uh ima check on Magnus, he isn't responding and I don't like him shutting me out like this"

"I'll be there soon," Alec says walking past the mundanes

"Bye," Brynne mumbles pocketing her phone and taking a deep breath

It wasn't like she was going to storm into Magnus' loft by blasting her way in, a spare key in the lock worked just great. So with the door unlocked Brynne lets the door shut behind her as she goes to look in shouting, "Magnus! Magnus! Ma-"

Brynne stops shouting when she spots Azazel standing before her with a smirk on his pale face. Being able to feel Magnus' wards surrounding the apartment Brynne knew using her magic against a greater demon would be useless because of the high chance her magic would bounce back and hurt her.

"Well, if it isn't the lovely Harbinger of Death," Azazel wickedly smiles not caring to hide his presence from her

"Where is Magnus?" Brynne bitterly asks her nose flaring and all precautions for using her magic flying out the window

"Oh, forget about him, there are more important things we need to talk about," Azazel says using his powers to wrap Brynne in an invisible rope and seat her on one of the living rooms couches, "Don't tell me you are still running away from meeting you old man? You must have figured out by now who he is"

"Where is Magnus?" Brynne asks once again not fighting against the hold she was wrapped in

Azazel stayed on the topic Brynne was trying to ignore "Your name must have given you an idea as to which Greater Demons blood runs through those veins. If you guess I'll even tell you where your warlock friend is"

Brynne grinds her teeth and gives in to the game, "Belial"

"That fool? Come on you know he can't walk among men. Guess again," Azazel commands tightening his hold against Brynne making her start taking shallow slow breaths as she squirms

"S-Sammael," Brynne whispers making Azazel smirk loosening his hold on her and allowing her to breathe normally

"Now that wasn't so hard," Azazel states not once dropping his smugged look as he was the first to let that name leave her lips "Your old man may be a general of Hell's army but his soldiers sure don't know how to get a warlock to do what is needed"

"Why?" Brynne tiredly asks not being able to move out of his invisible hold

"You are a Harbinger of Death. Hells Harbinger of Death and what do you do with that power? Runaway from it! Help humans! Your father should have listened when they told him to kill you the moment you were born. You'd think a general would know women don't make soldiers"
