after they ate, the two of them drove around as sibyl shows him the fun things in albany. she shows him the park that she practically grew up in, the school she graduated from, and even walked him around her college campus.

"i'm primarily online unless i need to take a test, then i come in and take it with the rest of the people in the class." she says, "there's the english building."

he playfully gags, making her laugh. "it's a really nice building, actually. my psychology class is in there, it's just the english majors that make me violent."

he smiles down at her as they walk back to her nissan, his hand in hers.

"where to next, miss. tour guide?"

"that is a very good question, mr. tourist." she says, unlocking her car and getting in. "i'm fresh out of ideas." her phone ringing cuts the conversation short, and she answers.

"hello?" she chews on her lip as she listens, "the park? yeah i'll pick you up. i didn't realize how late it was. love you too, bye." she puts her phone down after hanging up, backing out of their spot. "we are going to the park, apparently. my brother needs a ride home."

he nods, looking out the window as they drive. "i'm sure more interesting things will come to me while you're here, and we'll have a more fun tour. but i'm dry on ideas." she says, her green eyes focused on the road in front of them.

he yawns, leaning his elbow on the door and propping his head up on his hand. "that's alright. we've got time."

his words bring a warm smile to her face, and she can feel his eyes on her. typically she would be nervous if she knew someone was looking at her, but in that moment it didn't matter. it was just paul, and there was no reason to be nervous. she taps the wheel gently to the radio, fighting back a yawn of her own.

she pulls into the park, parking near the basketball court and texting her brother to tell him that she was there. the two of them see him running over, his friends waving at sibyl. she waves back with a smile on her face as they walk towards the drivers side.

"hey guys!" she says after rolling her window down, greeting the three or four boys.

"miss. sibyl, can danny come to my birthday party next weekend?"

"of course he can, are you guys going to stay there for the night?" they nod, "alright, just let me know when it will be and when i need to be there the next morning. you guys have a good evening!" they bid her goodbye as she rolls her window back up, pulling out of the parking lot and driving back to her apartment complex.

"don't do anything i wouldn't do next weekend, alright?" she says playfully, causing her brother to roll his eyes.

"you mean don't do any hard drugs?"

"you've learned well, young grasshopper. and don't get drunk, you're bitchy when you're hungover." she says.

the rest of the ride was full of danny rambling about his day, about the things him and his friends did. sibyl listens intently, and paul seemingly can't take his eyes off of her.

the three of them make it back to their apartment roughly twenty minutes later, dragging themselves through the door and to their rooms.
