(a/n: hello! a lot of you have noticed that as of chapter sixteen, i changed techno's name to paul. i did that in all of the chapters but people noticed when i published sixteen.

it was brought to my attention that he is uncomfortable with his real name being used, or at least in fics, so i changed it to respect his boundaries! i debated just using techno instead, but i prefer the personal feeling of a real name being used. if you don't like that, feel free to imagine paul as techno instead!

i forgot to put a note at the beginning of sixteen to let you all know about the change, so i apologize for the confusion!)

"are we live?" he asks, quickly checking on his phone to make sure everything was going smoothly. "we are! hallo!"

despite the fact that the viewers can't see him, he has a bright smile on his face. and that sight alone was enough to calm sibyl's nerves. "i have a special guest today, would you like to say hello?"

"hello technoblade fans!" she beams, giggling at her words. "i'm sibyl!"

"sibyl and i are going to be playing minecraft today." he says, his left hand gently rubbing patterns on her bouncing knee and his right creating a survival world and adding sibyl to it. "because she has never beat the ender dragon. lame, right?"

"not lame! i get scared!" she complains, laughing as she reads some of the chat. "see? some of them have never beat it either! it's scary!"

"no! you guys are supposed to side with me!" he laughs as the two of them collect wood.

"are we speed running? dream, we're coming for your brand." she jokes.

"we are not speed running. you're not speed running material." he says, "so dream's brand shall remain intact."

"what's that supposed to mean?" she whines as she makes wooden tools. "if i practice hard enough, i bet i could beat the world record. i feel like i have that godly power locked deep down somewhere inside of me."

"i'm glad you're confident in your non-existent skills." he chuckles as she punches his arm. "ouch!"

"don't crap on my skills! knee-caps are a privilege, not a right. remember that."

the two play for another forty-five minutes before they have everything they need to get into the end. sibyl's knee is bouncing underneath the desk in anticipation as she watches paul fill in the eyes of ender.

as he places the last one, the portal opens and he smiles gently at her. "are you ready for this?"

"you better not let me die." she states as they set their respawn points near the portal and organize their hotbars.

he chuckles, rolling his eyes. "don't worry, i won't."

"chat, did you hear that? if he lets me die then that means he's a big old fibber." she jokes as she watches his character go through the portal.

she takes a deep breath before going through it herself, her heart pounding in excitement and a smile on her face.

the two bridge onto the main island of the end and make destroying the crystals their first mission. sibyl takes out two before being knocked off of the platform by the dragon, letting out a loud squeal.
