The first instance in which he told me that he didn't like like me was on April first twenty eleven. I was at a friends house and her and
some other friends were teasing me about Andy and him liking me. I wasn't joking when I said that everyone thought that we had
liked each other. At that point I wasn't really sure how I felt about him, but I did kind of think that he liked me. I mean he would wait
at the door of English class for me, he would pretend to need to sharpen his pencil to come talk to me in the back of the room, and he
even asked me to help him write a song for guitar class. It seemed as if all the signs that he liked me were there. Boy was I wrong. My
friends thought that it would be funny to mess with Andy and send him texts saying that I loved his smile, and the way that he played
the guitar. He knew that it wasn't me, so my friends just started to ask him questions.
They asked him if he liked me.
His answer was as a friend.
Next came the unexpected.
They asked, "what if she liked you?"
I will never forget his answer.
He wrote," I only like her as a friend, but I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings."
My heart melted, he cared for me. He cared enough to say that even if he didn't like me, he would make sure that I was okay. That's
what did it for me. That was when my feelings for Andy started to turn from liking him as only a friend, to like liking him.
