You were walking down the street sipping the coffee in your hands. You felt someone tap your shoulder and you turned your head to find Luke walking beside you now. "Hey"
"Hey Luke" you smiled
"So how are you feeling about your first official day back"
"Scared" you sighed "I know pathetic right"
"I don't think your pathetic, don't worry I bet Spencer will warm up eventually"
"I wish" you scoffed "I just have to stay out of his way and nothing will implode"
"Expect for the part where we all hang around each other all the time"
"I never said my plan was perfect" as you both entered the building you saw Spencer standing in front of the elevators "Speak of the devil" you mumbled
"I thought you still wanted to get along with him" he questioned your last words
You sucked your teeth and sighed "Like I said, plan not perfect"
The both of you slowly approached and Spencer completely ignored your existence. "Hey Luke"
"Hey man"
The three of you awkwardly stood in silence for too long, you were not going to be able to handle an additional elevator ride. "I think I'm taking the stairs today"
"Sounds like a great plan" you heard Spencer mumble under his breath and you brushed past both men.
"But it's six flights" Luke called out
"It's great exercise" you turned your head to answer
You were beginning to regret your decision of coming back. But then again it wasn't only for Spencer. Right? You were ready to do the job you prepared for the whole time
Once you reached the sixth floor you were out of breath.
"Did you take the stairs?" You watched Penelope walk out of her office and walk towards you
"Yeah"
"Why is the elevator not working again?"
"No I just didn't want to ride wi-" you stopped yourself "I didn't want to ride the elevator knowing that I missed my run this morning"
"Since when do you run"
"I picked up a few habits in New York" you smiled
"Speaking about New York did you meet anyone special"
Very strange question of her to ask
"Uh nothing big" you walked towards the bullpen with her "Why"
"Just asking" she hummed
Before you could say anything Emily walked out of her office and stood over the railing "We have a case everyone meet me in the conference room"
"We will finish this later"
"Finish what later" JJ walked behind the both of you
"I don't even know if I'm being honest" you turned to smile at JJ
"Oh her love interests" Penelope giggled "We all have to catch up but for right now go do your profiling thing"
"Okay" you furrowed you brow and made your way into the conference room

"Aright two women, Abby Elcott and Beth Westerly, have been found dead after being sexually tortured and then blinded with a sulfuric acid solution, abducted near bus stops and the dump sites were in an alley and a field" You heard Penelope say through the screen of the jet
