16) Tutor

Sophia POV

I walked into school and saw Taylor walking towards me making me stop walking.

"Follow me" She said grabbing my wrist

"Well you're already grabbing my wrist-"

She walked fast basically dragging me down the hallways. We entered this empty classroom and and  she turned on the lights.

"What happened?" I asked

"What's up with you? You haven't even answered my texts and calls" She said "Oh shoot sorry I'm busy trying to look for a job and I've gotten so much homework" I said sighing

"Oh what subject you need help with?" She asked "Math" I said "Oh good luck on that I'm terrible with math" She said and I nodded "Yeah I can tell" I chuckled "Whats that supposed to mean" She said "Nothing, but you know what you're good at?" I said

"What?" She said

"For being a good friend" I pat her head and she smiled "We should go before we get late" I said and she opened the door for me and we separated our ways

I went along my day and when it was 8th period I was getting so sleepy. I'm so tired of this Julius Cesar thing. We're only on Act 3 and there's so much acts left.

"Alright class same as usually write a page essay about this and remember due tomorrow. See you guys tomorrow" Ms Gadot said and all the students left

I packed my things slowly because I was about to fall asleep

"You okay?" I heard Ms Gadot and I just nodded

"You're lying and I hate liars" She bend down so we're the same height "Talk now" She said "I'm tired. Can you drive me home?" I asked "Of course just give me a sec" She said and I put my head down to rest my eyes

I felt someone pushing me gently and when I opened my eyes I saw those warm eyes that always makes my heart feel weird

"Let's go" She whispered and we walked to her car until she drove me home. "You can stay if you want I don't really care" I mumbled and went into my room and immediately took a nap

I woke up and saw it was only 4:00 pm which wasn't really late.

I went down feeling energized now

I grabbed some water and I saw Gal sitting on the couch "Oh I thought you left" I said to Gal and just continue to drink her wine "Dad still isn't home" I sigh

I went upstairs to do some homework but I'm stuck on this math question. I couldn't handle it anymore so I went down to ask Gal for help

"Gal I need your help!" I said "What? Is someone bothering you? Do you need me to fight someone?" She stood up

"Close! Math homework" I said and she rolled her eyes "I'm an English teacher for a reason" She said "Gal please! I don't know this" I groaned and I heard her sigh "Fine let me help" She said

I sat down on the floor and she looked over my homework

"Soph this is just calculus" She said 

"Yeah and I need help" I said

"Fine well first you have to isolate the variables by dividing this fraction by 5" She said and I did that and look at her

This gonna be a long night

"Alright that's it" She said and I smiled

I lay my head on the table feeling so tired and stressed. Gal was sitting next to me on the floor and I closed my eyes to rest.

When I opened them Gal lay her head on the table and looked at me

We were staring at each other and my heart was beating again.

I hiccup and I covered my mouth

I saw her smile
