20) Missing her

Sophia POV

"Hey" Taylor wrapped her arms around my shoulder but I gently hit her hand "What?" She asked looking confused "People are staring" I mumbled and saw those girls glaring at me a long with Harry

"Let them stare" She said and I just went along with it

"What to do something after school today?" She asked "I can't my dad wants me to stay home today because I'm on house duty" I said

"That sucks" She whined

"I have to go see you later" She ran off and j waved at her

I went along my school day and once I finally hit the last period which was Gal class. Once the bell ranged she closed the door and stand in front of the class which made the class go silent

"Alright class, now you must've heard about the senior trip we're having. Now each student must sign the permission slip and must be return by next week" She said passing out the papers

"Where are we going Ms?" Some kid asked

"We're going to New York and meet some of the finest place there" She said and students we're wowing

"Do we have to pay?"

"Yes there's a fee of $120 because of the hotel, food, and transportation. The rest of the money was already covered by the school. This should've already been pain in your senior packet that you should've returned two weeks ago." Ms Gadot said.

"When are we leaving?"

"End of this month. We have been preparing everyone since the summer" Ms Gadot said

"Are we driving or flying?"

"Flying" Ms Gadot responded

Flying? I never been into an airplane before. I'm starting to become anxious now. What will happen?

"Remember turn in these by next week even if you're aren't going turn it in still" She said and everyone nodded

The lesson started and I was getting bored every second. I just want to go home and take a nap. I sigh and just started to do my work.

School was finished and I was the first one to leave. I ran home and immediately went to my room. I took a shower and changed into some comfy clothes.

I did my homework to waste some time and I heard my dad calling me. I checked the time and it was already 8:00pm.

I went downstairs to check on my dad and he was wearing a tuxedo

"Yeah dad?" I asked

"Can you take out the trash for me?" He asked

"It's dark why can't you?" I said

"I would but I don't want to mess up my tuxedo" He said and I rolled my eyes and smiled "Sure" I said

"Wait! How do I look?" He said and I stared at me

"Meh" I shrugged

"Soph I need a valid answer" He laughed "Fine, uhh you're tie is a bit crooked" I said and went to the mirror and fixed it "Thank you" He smiled and fixed it

"By the way, where are you going?" I asked him

"An fancy event for my job. I invited Gal to come with and she'll be here any minute now" He said and I nodded.

I went to the kitchen and grabbed the trash

I carried it and went walked to the front of my house and put it in the big trash can. I huffed and walked back but stopped when I saw a cat. I squat down and got near it

"Hey cutie, are you lost?" I said to the cat and pet its head.

It meowed and I smiled

"You're one cute cat"

"Cute isn't it?" I got scared by the voice and fell on my butt. "Oh sorry!" I looked up and saw Gal wearing a fancy white dress "No worries" I said and went back to the cat who is now hiding behind the bush

"It's okay I won't hurt you" I whispered and it came back and I continue to pet it

"Is it yours?" Gal asked and I shake my head "I was taking out the trash when I saw it" I said "It's a cute fella" Gal said and pet it

"Are you going to keep it?" She asked me "I don't know yet I want too" I said and stood up

"Dad is waiting for you" I said and she looked a bit sad now "Oh okay" She said and we both went inside.

"Nice you came in time" Dad said and walked towards us

"Now Soph I probably won't be home until late at night so I put dinner on the stove heat it up when you're hungry" He said and I nodded "Let's go Gal our ride is here" He said

"Bye sweetie!" My dad said and slammed the door shut before Gal could've said something

Looks like it's just me again...

Gal POV

This event sucks

I was surrounded by people that looks like they only care about money. I sigh and drank another champagne.

I wish I could be with Sophia right now. I don't even know why I agreed to come to this event. Cullen was just talking to random people leaving me sit here alone and a bunch of old men hitting on me

"Hello beautiful want another drink?" An old man said

"Bye" I said

"Well then" He left

I decided to walk outside to get some fresh air. I sat on a staircase and just sigh. My thoughts were then on Sophia again. Gosh why do I keep thinking about her.

"Do you like Sophia?"

That same sentence Taylor asked me keeps running in my head.

I think about her 24/7 but it's so wrong

But aside from that

Maybe I do like her

I look in the sky to see a bunch of stars

And at that moment, I just want to scream. Why does it have to be her?! I'm getting married I cant think like this! I heard my name being called and I went back inside

It was finally time to leave and Cullen couldn't stop smiling. He was sober but still had a bit of alcohol in his system. I was so tired and I just want to see Sophia

Our driver stopped at his house and I saw that same cat

"Ew disgusting cat" Cullen said as he tried to walk in to his house and unlocked it.

The difference between him and Sophia...

I went inside the house and it was almost 2:00 am so I'm assuming Sophia was asleep. I went to the kitchen to grab some water but Cullen wouldn't stop touching me

I didn't mind but I hate it that it's from him

"Dad?!" We heard Sophia

"Dammit" I heard him which made me kinda annoyed at him

"You're home!" Sophia smiled and ran down the stairs to hug him but backed away when she realized he smells like alcohol

"Take a shower jeez" She said and made me smiled

"I'll be going. Goodnight" I said and walked out. I drove home and took a shower and changed into some comfy clothes. I went to my bed and sigh.
