17) Soccer

Sophia POV

I was walking to school and I saw Taylor with her 'friend' group. Not technically her friends. Just Emma and a group of girls that has a crush on her. She saw me and left the group. She walk towards me and smiled

"Hey" She said

I look behind her and her friends were staring at me looking jealous and was ready to fight me.

Taylor looked behind her and noticed

"Sorry about them" She said

"It's fine. How's your morning so far?" She asked me "Terrible, I accidentally snoozed my alarm so I was late. Didn't even eat breakfast" I said and we continue to walk.

"I have a soccer game today. Can you stay and cheer for me?" She asked and I was thinking about it "Just stay after school" She said

(A/N: I'm from America and I grew up calling it soccer so sorry for those who call it football lmao)

"Fine okay" I said and she smiled

School day went on and I was going to my 3rd period and I have to walk pass by Gals classroom who always stands outside her door

I was walking until Taylor stood in front of me

"Here" She gave me orange juice

"You know I hate orange juice!" I said as she walked away "but thanks I guess" I mumbled and looked up to see Gal staring at me

I put it on my bag and continue my day

Me and Samuel is in 8th period now with Ms Gadot and we were currently taking notes about Julius Cesar again. Gosh when will we be done with this?

The bell ranged and I remembered I was supposed to stay for Taylor's soccer game today. I was packing my things when I apple juice on my desk. I look up and noticed it was from Gal who just walked away

Did she give this to me?

My felt my heart beat fast and started to blush

Why am I even feeling this way?

I walked out of her classroom and I went to the field where I saw Taylor playing with the soccer ball in her soccer uniform.

"Wow you're actually pretty good" I put my backpack on the bleachers and sat on it "Really? I'm just warming up" She said and did a few tricks

"Woah" I saw her and feeling amazed

"Wanna try?" She asked "Uh I don't know I'm not really athletic" I said "Come on just kick it" She said kicking the ball towards me. I stood up and kicked it slightly "There you go" She kicked it back and I kicked it harder

"Now try jogging" She passed me the ball and I was kicking the ball softly while jogging. I was looking down at the ball when I didn't realized I collided with Taylor and we both fell on the ground with me on top of her with my head on her chest.

I look up and saw Taylor staring at me

"Oh sorry" I tried to get up but she pushed me down so I wouldn't move. She was staring at me but I felt so awkward right now

We felt a ball hitting us and I turned my head to see Gal crossing her arms standing

I heard Taylor sigh

I quickly got up and helped Taylor

"What are you two doing?" She sounded angry "Uh she was just showing me how to kick a soccer ball" I said "I thought you went home" Gal said "I was staying here till the soccer game" I said "You're going home I'll take you" Gal grabbed my backpack and then my wrist

She dragged me away but then Taylor grabbed my other wrist

"Sorry but Soph decided to stay" Taylor said and Gal looked at her angrily "Her father needs her. He even tried calling her and then asked me to pick her up" Gal said

I let go both of them and grabbed my phone to see missed calls from my dad

"Sorry Taylor but it seems like my dad needs me" I said and she nodded understanding my situation "I'll see you tomorrow" I said and I walked away

I got in the car with Gal and she drove me home silently. Is she mad or something?

We arrived at my house at I went inside and saw my dad sitting on the couch. "Hey dad" I said and he had a big smile on his face "Good new ladies" He said "What is it?" I said

"My boss offered me a new job upgrade and I accepted earlier today" He smiled "Really that's amazing congrats!" I smiled

"Even better It's in Canada! We're moving to Canada in the summer after you graduate!" He said and my smile faded away
