catras POV

few hours before

"why'd I wake up so fucking early?" I woke up to the sun shining through my window yet it wasn't the only warmth I felt

"gah!" I jump back realising I was still holding adoras hand

I kept my position watching the girl sleep, am I creepy? Is it wrong if she looks so good?

adora on my bed.. on my... bed... laying ...

knock knock

I jump up clearing my thoughts, someone had knocked on the door, who could be here so fucking early?

I stretch and open the door yawning

"uh?"

I glance and see lonnie standing there

"good morning kitty" she teasingly says

"and why are you here?" I say raising a brow and folding my arms, almost cringing at the nickname she had given me back in highschool

"there's something I want to talk about and I bought breakfast" she lets herself in and sits down

I quickly close the door to my room hoping she didn't take notice of adora sleeping in there, why didn't I want her to see?

I decide to make coffee for us

minutes of silence pass.

"so what is it? are you in trouble-" I ask placing the coffee down

"I think I still love you catra" she suddenly replies completely expressionless

I pause in my position, I couldn't even move a finger, completely and utterly paralysed for a few seconds

I glance up at her

"do you know what you're saying?"

she gets up and pushes me onto the couch making me sit, her arm trapping me

"ow! lonnie this isn't a joke, we can't get back together" I say sternly

she grabs my chin making me look at her

"do I look like I'm joking? huh catra?" she leans in closer, our noses touching

I push her away

"listen, I can't alright?"

she stares blankly for a moment

"sure you can, we were so good for each other"

"yeah we WERE until you had to go and ruin it" I face palm myself

"hey I apologied! t's been so long since then, let's start over"

"lonnie you can't just come back and except me to forgive you and get back together" I stand up

"how about this then, let's stay at your apartment for a while, if you really don't like me then you can leave"

"why?"

"I don't think you should refuse" she grins

I take a second to think

what was her motive? I needed to know

I felt as if she would keep pushing me so I agreed, it would be bad if adora woke up

"fine alright, I'll play your game, just know I'll be leaving anyways" I say crossing my arms

all I had to do was go there and explain that I like adora, easy, super simple, no problem

"by the way, are you using a different perfume? you smell different" she says raising a brow
