I could feel the cool wind against my skin and the warmth of her body. Why did she ask me to come with her?

we head for the city, I feel excited because ever since I moved here I didn't get to go out to the city as much as I wanted.

we stop at a red light. I could feel the tension between us, we werent even friends, we had met ONCE before yet we're together in this big city.....

"do you come to the city often?" I ask

"yeah, I do a lot of jobs around here..."

"oh, I see, what do you do?"

"a secret heheh" she says, it makes me curious.

"is there any place you wanna go princess?" she asks changing the subject

"I want to get a drink and... go to the beach for awhile"

"you wish is my command"

"pft shut up"

ah! I couldn't help but blush at her calling me such names and being like that. If we were both fictional characters I'm sure we'd be rivals.

we arrive at the beach, there's a lot of people still here even though its getting dark.

both of us got off and decide to walk for awhile.

"want me to go get drinks?"

"uh- uh- yes!" I say nervously, cmon adora why are you so nervous these days? especially around her!

"haha alright princess" she laughs, I look at her two fangs, she had sharp teeth, like a real cat, I wonder how it would feel against-

"you alone here?" my thoughts were cut off by being surrounded by three dudes

"if you'd like we could accompany you tonight hm.." says another one

"thanks but I have a date" aah did I just say date?!

"cmon we don't like liars, it'll be fun" one of them grabs my hand, this is so annoying.

"will you please let go-"

"just come with us" they start to try to drag me, seriously?

I decide there was one thing left to do, I swing my arm back and punch that dumbass.

"wha- what the fuck?!"

"you're crazy!!"  Is what I hear from them.

"am...I interrupting something?" I turn and see her standing looking confused, the guys run off somewhere. whew.

"I didn't know you could hit like that hmm" she says in a teasing tone

"well duh I'm not totally helpless"

"so I guess you can have your cool main character moments too" she laughs at me, I couldn't help but laugh a bit with her

"shut uppp or I'll do the same to you"

"eh I wouldn't mind that, it would turn me on to be honest"

how could she say those things with sucha straight face?!

"cmon lets go walk on the beach" she extends her hand out and I grab it.

we walk by the waves and watch as the sun came down. It feels good. The water was refreshing, I felt cleansed.

"hey, uh, I've been meaning to ask but... what's your name?" I ask quietly

"huh? oh it's catra"

HUHH? did I hear that right, catra?! like my roommate catra.

"you're my- my roommate!"

"oh yeah, we are haha!"

"you knew?"

"well yeah I guess"

"hmph you didn't even say anything, besides why are you never there at the dorm?!"

"that's because I have an apartment here at the city and I'm usually out all night or I crash at scorpias place, no need for me to use the dorm"

"you could have said hi at least" I was a bit angry, I mean who does that!

"mm nah I think the way we met was way better" she replies

I get embarrassed, that was the worst seriously! me falling and her catching me....

"hey wanna see my apartment? It's pretty nice.... "

I stay silent, only the sound of the waves and chatter could be heard.

"your apartment-?..." I finally managed to say

"uhh- only if you want to! I know it's sudden but I thought you'd be tired"

I was feeling curious as to where this feeling was leading me.

"sure!"

"oh that's okay then- HUH wait you actually wanna?!"

"yeah why not" I laugh

we both get on her motorcycle and now we head to her apartment....
