For a good measure

"Whose car is this?" Asked Stiles nervously and Luke didn't know if he wanted to know the answer.

"It belonged to my nurse."

"What happened to your n-Oh, my God!" Shouted Stiles and Luke stumbled back while holding his nose when Peter opened the trunk.

"I got better." Smirked Peter and pulled out a laptop case.

"Good luck getting a signal down here. Oh, MiFi. And you're a Mac guy. Does that go for all werewolves, or just a personal preference?"

"Turn it on. Get connected."

"You know, you're really killing the whole werewolf mystique thing here. Look, you still need Scott's username and password, and I'm sorry, but I don't know them." Luke sent Stiles a sympathetic look while watching the boy try to get out of this situation. The vampire would have tried to do something if it wasn't for alphas stare on him. Not once did Peter's eyes leave the brunette.

"You know both of them."

"No, I don't."

"Even if I couldn't hear your heartbeat, I would still be able to tell that you're lying."

"Dude, I swear to God-"

"I can be very persuasive, Stiles. Don't make me persuade you." Luke hoped that Stiles would hide his incomprehensible expression. But he didn't. Peter then decided to demonstrate his persuasive techniques. He grabbed Luke by the back of his neck and basically shoved his face to the corpse of the nurse.

"What are you doing?!" Shouted Stiles.

"Once the vampire loses control and turns feral, he will attack anything with beating heart. I can defend myself. Can you?" The silver flashes in Luke's eyes were enough to make Stiles turn back to the laptop.

"What happens after you find Derek?"

"Don't think, Stiles. Type."

"You're gonna kill people, aren't you?"

"Only the responsible ones."

"Look, if I do this, you have to promise to leave Scott out of it." Stiles tried to reason with Peter and the alpha slightly eased the pressure on Luke's head. The vampire was glad, he did not know how long he would be able to smell the blood without going nuts.

"Do you know why wolves hunt in packs? It's because their favourite prey is too large to be brought down by one wolf alone. I need Derek and Scott. I need both of them."

"He's not gonna help you."

"Oh, he will. Because it'll save Allison. And you will, because it will save Scott. Your best friend whom you know so well, you even have his username and password." Stiles frowned and finally typed in the username and password.

"His username is "Allison"? His password is also "Allison"?"

"Still want him in your pack? Wait, what the-That's where they're keeping him? At his own house?" Luke's eyes widened as he put the pieces together.

"Not at it. Under it." Whispered Luke.

"I know exactly where that is. And I'm not the only one. Give me your keys." Stiles growled but obeyed.

"Careful. She grinds in second. So you're not gonna kill me? Oh God."

"Don't you understand yet? I'm not the bad guy here."

"You turn into a giant monster with red eyes and fangs, and you're not the bad guy here?" Stiles mentally cursed at himself when he let his eyes warily flicker to Luke.

"I like you, Stiles. Since you've helped me, I'm going to give you something in return. Do you want the bite?" Luke looked at Peter like he was crazy and then turned to Stiles and shook his head lightly. However, he quicky stopped when he felt sharp claws dig into his skin.

"What?"

"Do you want the bite? If it doesn't kill you, and it could, you'll become like us."

"Like you."

"Yes, a werewolf. Would you like me to draw you a picture? That first night in the woods, I took Scott because I needed a new pack. It could've easily been you. You'd be every bit as powerful as him. No more standing by his side, watching him become stronger, and quicker, more popular, watching him get the girl. You'd be equals. Maybe more. Yes or no?" Stiles then remembered a sentence that left a huge impact on him.

"Human is the most supernatural being in Beacon Hills right now. I don't want to be like you." Said Stiles with strong voice and Luke smiled at him. Peter growled. There was only one person who could come up with this kind of sentimental bullshit in Beacon Hills.

"Your dying is taking awfully long time, Lucien." Luke heard before he was thrown against a wall. But that was nothing compared to what was about to come. Peter dug his teeth into Luke's forearm. The pain was unbearable. He was sure that he would die. Tears erupted from his eyes and he screamed. Stiles watched in horror as Peter let vampire's body fall to the ground.

"Do you know what I heard just then? Your heartbeating slightly faster over the words "I don't want." You maybelieve that you're telling me the truth, but you are lying to yourself.Goodbye, Stiles." Then the Alpha left Stiles with whimpering Luke alone.
