Ok This one is my daemos senpai Leif's backstory or what we know of it on how he became a knight under Asch
once again like Noi Leif was also spared by Asch but in a different way

So... As we know Leif was a former assassin so he most likely lived in an assassin camp with a bunch of other assassins.
We know that Leif was the second most deadly in the assumed assassin camp so he hunted and killed very well and from what we know he clearly really enjoyed it, it's why he's kill happy.
Anyways, one night as said by Leif in one of the episodes of MID to Ava that his group had left him behind
However he never said why and couldn't bring himself to say it so this is where I believe that the assassins went on a mission and had purposely left Leif behind for some reason. Leading me to believe that this had crushed Leif hard and even heart broke him. Honestly I believe what the group did even haunts him to this very day still.
His only explanation on why they left him behind is "They were just jealous that they couldn't kill as well as me so they left me behind."
However I believe that what Leif says about that is just an escape to make him feel better from the true pain and heartbreak he feels from being purposely left behind
How he became a knight is because I believe that one night he couldn't take the loneliness and went looking for his assassin group after they had already purposely left him because then he wouldn't feel so alone, but never ended up finding them
In fact while looking for them I believe Leif had wandered way to close to the castle causing Pierce and Rhys to find him and knock him out in fear of him killing the prince as a mission.
So after Leif was knocked out he was then taken to a cell in the castle to confess why he was so close to the castle
When he awoke from being knocked out I believe that Leif was so sure he would be put to death because of being an assassin
However that wasn't the case when Pierce and Rhys went to Prince Asch to tell him about Leif and whether he should be spared or put to death Prince Asch had decided to spare him like what he did with Noi in the previous backstory on Noi.
After Leif was spared he was then knighted and became a knight serving under Prince Asch as well.
Though as happy as that is I Honestly feel like on some nights Leif suddenly wakes up in a cold sweat and in tears from a bad dream because he had dreamed about being left behind again but instead...by Asch and the knights
So in all honesty I feel like Leif fears being left alone and just doesn't wanna ever be left behind again that's why he can't tell the truth about why he was left behind because he fears breaking into tears in front of everyone making him appear as weak
So what do you guys think it kinda makes sense huh
Meaning I guess you can say as kill happy, and strong as Leif acts he has a fear which is his weakness
If I can think of something for Asch I'll say his too because there has to be something about his backstory on why he acts the way he acts as well.
