God it's been a while since I wrote in this book. However, I finally have a hot theory for all of you that I think is true and I hope you guys do to. So with no further ado let's jump in.
Ok so first things first if you haven't heard the news, Ruin has been confirmed as Gay by Davis himself a few days ago on the TSBS discord. Meg/Megalodon/ayyimaninjameg aka one of the mods and one of the LAES thumbnail artists was the one to bare this news.
Then as of today 01/12/2025 Solar was confirmed as Pansexual on today's Sun and Moon Show live stream, once again by Davis himself. I don't remember the exact time stamp as I watched it live, but Davis did say "I think Solar would be Pan" so that's enough confirmation for me.
Which is honestly very ironic that Solar and Ruin were canonically confirmed as Pan and Gay. Which is awfully similar to my books as my Solar and Ruin are that too only switched. Thus meaning my version of Solar is Gay while my version Ruin is Pan. Instead of canon SAMS Solar being Pan and canon SAMS Ruin being Gay. (I swear if Davis actually reads my books I will freak. I seriously doubt it but their canonical sexualities are awfully similar to my AU funny enough. Then again I may just be that in tune with their writing that I unintentionally predicted the characters' sexuality before it was confirmed on the actual show only swapped)
Anyways I got completely off topic, so let's get back on track. You see I already said this on my discord server but I thought I would share it here too for those who don't have discord.
Now that we know Ruin and Solar are canonically Gay and Pan I have a theory as to who I think Ruin's romantic interest is.
So, In the video called "Ballora Teaches Ruin Ballet" on the Eclipse and Puppet Show, Ruin at 3:07 - 3:27 said he did have romantic interest in someone at one point but refuses to tell who it is. Says that this information will be taken with him to his grave.
So when Ruin said he had romantic interest in someone, I had my own immediate thought and wondered if others had the same. Curious I read the comments and found out the majority of people aside from me think it's Ruin's Monty that he likes.
However, I was one of the very few who didn't immediately think it was his Monty and that's where my theory comes in. You see my mind immediately went to Solar instead of Ruin's Monty. I don't think that either because I heavily ship it. I personally think it is just that.
In fact, as someone who's watched SAMS from the very beginning and never missed a video, I personally think Davis was definitely trying to do something with Solar and Ruin before Solar's death and when the 2 of them were friends.
The reasons why I think Ruin's romantic interest is Solar and not his Monty is because I personally think the evidence is all there. I will be piecing out the little information we know that standout most to me to prove my point. So just hear me out.

1.) During the video where Solar got knocked out and woke up to Ruin we saw Ruin and his new body for the first time. Yet when Ruin first got his new body and Solar saw it for the first time, Solar wouldn't stop staring at Ruin. He stared so much to the point he apologized.

2.) During the time before Nexus went insane and became Nexus, Solar and Nexus went to save Ruin from being kidnapped by Eclipse. When they got back to the daycare they started questioning if Ruin was ok and Ruin started telling them everything very clearly. However, Solar then at one point decided to get closer to Ruin and Ruin went from speaking clearly to stuttering when Solar got close. He even cut his sentence short because he was stuttering to much to continue.
