"The week is long, the silver cat feeds, when blue meets yellow in the west." The four of us read together. It had taken most of the day to translate the Russian message, now we were still here after closing.

"What the hell does that even mean?" I asked, looking at the others. I only got shrugs in return as we gathered our belongings and went to leave. Steve twirled his keys around his finger as we left Scoops. He grabbed the metal shutter for the ice cream shop and pulled it down.

"I mean, it just... it just can't be right." Steve finally said as he locked the shutters down. Robin turned away from him.

"It's right." Robin argued as Steve stood back up.

"Honestly, I think it's great news." Dustin informed us as we began walking to the exit of the mall. I still wasn't even sure where I would stay for the night. I had no way to contact Mike about sneaking into his house, and I'm sure Uncle G would have it on lockdown anyway.

"How is this great news?" Steve questioned. "I mean, so much for being American heroes. It's total nonsense." I shook my head, glancing over my shoulder.

"Not really. It's probably a code. It wouldn't make sense otherwise." I told him. Steve scoffed under his breath.

"What do you mean, a code?" Steve asked.

"Like a super secret spy code." Dustin answered for me.

"That's a total stretch." Steve responded, seeming to be slightly annoyed.

"I don't know, is it?" Robin looked back at Steve.

"You're buying into this?" Steve questioned as he gestured to me and Dustin.

"Listen, just for kicks, let's entertain the possibility that it is a secret Russian transmission. What'd you think they were gonna say, 'Fire the warhead at noon'?" Robin told him. I turned, briefly walking backwards so I could look at Steve.

"All we're saying is, would it really make sense to outright broadcast your plans word for word in a language anyone can easily translate?" Steve glanced at me, but didn't answer.

"And my translation is correct. I know that for sure, so..." Robin trailed off for a moment. "'The silver cat feeds.' Why would anyone talk like that unless they're trying to mask the true meaning of their message?" Robin asked and Dustin nodded in agreement beside her. "And why would anyone mask the true meaning of their message unless the message was somehow sensitive?" Robin continued, and Dustin gave Steve a pointed look as he agreed with Robin again. "So I guess that confirms your suspicions." Robin finished, looking to Dustin.

"Evil Russians." Dustin said with a nod.

"I can't believe I'm about to agree with this strange child , but, yeah, totally evil Russians." Robin huffed a laugh. Steve gave a tight smile, then look off to the side. He suddenly stopped walking, and I stopped too, having been watching him as we walked. Behind me, Robin and Dustin continued talking. Steve stared at the little horse, "Indiana Flyer" and I came to stand by him. Quickly, he dug into his pockets, some of his coins dropping out as he knelt down.

"Hey, Steve, other strange little child." Robin called behind us, but neither of us answered. "What are you doing?" Robin questioned as Steve searched through his coins.

"Uh, it's a quarter. I need- do you have a quarter?" Steve asked as he looked up at me. I quickly took off my bag and brought out my wallet. I dumped out my own coins, and slid one of the ones off the top and gave it to Steve.
