Kay Portman joins the ducks on team USA. She meets a certain cowboy who turns her world around along with many new friends.

"Ladies and gentlemen, team USA hockey" Mr. Tibbles introduced us
A guy in a bear costume came running up to us to get pictures. For some reason I was nervous but plastered it with a smile. But somehow Dwayne managed to notice and grabbed my hand, squeezing it lightly. I looked up at him and smiled as a thank you, which he returned before turning his attention to the crowd.
"Team USA how does it feel competing on a national level here in Los Angeles?" A blonde lady asked
A chorus of "Greats" and "We love it's" was heard from our group.
I zoned out for the rest of the questions, finding no interest in them. Until I heard a sharp voice from the crowd "Team USA is going down. That's where you're going"
"Oh hell naw not these guys again" I said out loud, earning an elbow from Charlie and a laugh from Guy.
"Stansson from the NHL? Wolf "the dentist" Stansson is coaching? You didn't tell me that." I heard coach say to Mr.Tibbles
I turned to Guy confused "The dentist? I mean he has nice teeth but nothing to remember"
He rolled his eyes "No, that was his nickname. He played one year for pro. Got more teeth than goals."
"He even punched out his own coach!" Charlie added
"I heard they ran him outta the league and the country" Julie said
I turned my head when I heard his unpleasant voice again "What happened to freedom of speech huh? Isn't this America?" He asked turning to us smiling evilly
I flipped him off before being smacked in the head by Adam.
"Man you all love abusing me!!"
They all laughed until the Iceland coach said loudly looking us directly in the eye "We will crush you"
We all knew he meant literally.
"This guys a nutcase!" Kenny said to me
"If you think he's a nutcase, obviously you've never met Averman" I laughed
"HEY I HEARD THAT" Averman yelled turning around
"Yeah I know" I smiled at him
We made our way back to the dorms and changed into clothes to go out and explore.
