Back to Kay's pov

I ran down the steps and into the living room "Wolf guess what"

"What?" He asked turning to face me

I sat next to him "So. Dwayne just called me and he got in a fight"

He nodded "Didn't know the cowboy could do such a thing"

I smiled "Right! But the best part is that he beat the guy up because he said something about me!"

He grinned "Good guy"

"I know right" I smiled "Now, let's go to practice. My bag is ready and so am I"

He got up "You can come. But can't practice"

"Why?! It's not like I haven't played hockey with them before! And that's when I was the enemy!"

"Because"

"Because why?"

He took a deep breath "Most of those guys don't like you"

I laughed "Thats fairly obvious"

He rolled his eyes "So that means they wouldn't hold back on hurting you"

"Stansson. I appreciate the concern but seriously I'll be fine!"

He looked at me for a moment

"Please?!"

He nodded

I jumped up grabbing my bag "Well what are you waiting for?!" then ran out the door

Wolf followed me in and drove us to the rink where I went to the bathroom and changed. Full padding this time.

I skated out onto the ice and to Gunnar

"Coach letting you practice?"

"You bet" I smiled

I heard a scoff from the right and of course, it was Sanderson.

He skated over "You cant play with us"

"Um yeah I can.."

"No"

"Sanderson." I said putting a hand on his shoulder "I know you have a fragile masculinity, but you don't have to make it so obvious"

He shoved my hand off him and made an angry face? Was it supposed to be intimating?? I don't know it looked like he was shitting himself

"Man he fucking hates me" I laughed turning to Gunnar

"Yeah. Not sure why"

"Mommy issues? Maybe he hates younger girls and gets hard over old ones?"

He laughed "Maybe. Or he's just a sexist prick"

"Hey, we both know you were too"

He nodded "Fair point. But I'm a changed man"

"Indeed so. Now stay this way"

He smiled as Wolf blew the whistle for everyone to come in circle

"Hiya coach" I smiled cheekily

He rolled his eyes and ignored me, then started talking Icelandic. Should've known. This is Iceland...

After he was done talking I had Gunnar translate for me. Don't even need a computer, my own person translator. How nice

During practice I was shoved into the board

Multiple times

By multiple guys

At once.

I finally had enough of it and dropped my stick and gloves, ripping my helmet off "AM I THAT MUCH OF A THREAT TO YOU GUYS?"
