The next day I woke up quite refreshed and feeling much better

I changed into an outfit that made me feel good and actually ate breakfast for a change

First class I went in and sat down, Dwayne was already seated so I simply smiled at him and turned my attention to the board

He of course didn't smile back which hurt a bit, but I've decided that I don't need him to be happy

After 1st, came second and then lunch.

I got my food and started walking towards our table when I was stopped

"Hey gorgeous" Rick winked

"Hey Rick" I smiled, continuing walking

"Wait up"

I stopped and faced him

"Go to the dance with me"

"Rick I already said no. See you later"

"Right" He smiled "See you"

I rolled my eyes sitting down next to Luis and Kenny

"What was that about?" Luis asked

"Just Rick being Rick" I shrugged taking a bite of my food

He smirked and nodded, averting his attention to Goldberg who was mixing gravy, blueberries, mashed potatoes and chocolate milk together.

"Averman. Eat it" He smiled evilly

"No! You eat it!"

"I made the masterpiece" He said admiring it "Someone else has to eat it"

"Fulton" He smiled

"No"

"Cat?" He asked facing Julie

"I've learned my lesson of taking food from you"

"Anyone?"

"Goldberg just eat it yourself" Kenny said

"Fine. If no one else will" He said taking a bite

"Ew"
"Goldberg!"
"Nasty"
"Gross!" Everyone said

He smiled "So good" before getting up and spitting it out

"Boo spitters are for quitters!" I said to him

"You'd know that" Dwayne commented

"Fuck off"

He looked away, acting as if he said nothing

I rolled my eyes taking a bite of my food

"Real bitter huh?" Kenny whispered

"That's one way to put it"

"No one thinks you cheated. He's the only one stupid enough to believe that"

I smiled "Thanks Kenny I appreciate it"

He nodded "Anything for the girl who got my lunch back for me"

"It's no big deal. I was lookin for a reason to hit the guy anyway" I smiled

He laughed taking a sip of his water as the bell rang for 3rd

I got up to throw away my trash where Riley was standing "The offer is still on the table"

"Nope" I smiled walking to my next class

Believe it or not, I actually understood class today. Somewhat.

4th came around and then practice time. Today I got ready and did my laps with Charlie
