(Sarah's POV)
"Who are you?!" I cried out to the dark figure standing in the entrance of the bar.
The person wore all black and I couldn't see their face.
"Just someone who you used to know." They said and walked out the door.
I turned around and saw that Ashely was gone. Sam got up and knelt down besides me.
"I'm so sorry... I'm so so sorry..." she cried into her palms.
"Sam... Listen to me: call the police. They need to track whoever did this down."
Sam got up and ran to her phone. I held Jerome in my arms and kissed him on the forehead.
"I will find who did this to you... I will. Don't you worry..." I sobbed.
I carried Jerome to the car and we drove off to the hospital. When we got there I told the nurse what happened and he was taken into surgery. He lost a lot of blood but the doctors said there would be a slight chance he will survive. Sophie and I sat in the waiting room for a few hours. I was rocking her to sleep when I heard the doors slide open.
"I was told that Jerome Aceti was here." A female voice said.
I turned my head.
