The weeks approaching the school festival passed by quicker than Kou realized, and before everyone knew it, it was the day of the concert.

"You getting cold feet or something, Kou-mi?" Bakugou nudges her on the shoulder, teasing the girl when he notices her wandering eyes. "Don't think there's a way to mess up dangling a couple idiots around with your quirk."

After the kitchen incident, Kou decided to stop suppressing her desire to be with Bakugou- not like it had worked very well anyways. She had a feeling even if she had stayed vigilant, the angry blond would've worked his way back into her life somehow.

Things were back to normal- kind of. Kou didn't even know what normal was between them at this point.

"Shut up," she grumbled, shoving him back, "I'm looking for Midoriya. The performance is in like 10 minutes and he's still not here."

"Tch, who cares about stupid Deku? The musicians are the real star of the show!"

"Better hope you don't mess up, Kacchan ," Kou smiles sarcastically, "Wouldn't want 'the star of the show' choking, now would we?"

"Bitch, I always kill it." Bakugou glares at her, though there's no malice to his look.

"Oh yeah?" Kou's smirk widens, and just as he's about to send a rebuttal they hear coughing from the side.

"Uh, guys?" Kaminari approaches them carefully, making sure to keep some distance between the couple and himself, "Could you stop flirting for like one second? We gotta start setting up."

"WE'RE NOT FLIRTING!" The two growl at him, causing the electric blond to cower in fear.

"O-okay! Just, Bakugou- we need to start setting up the instruments!"

"You could've just said that to begin with, Dunce Face!" Bakugou scowls, standing up from his seat beside Kou and walking towards him. "I'll see you later, Kou. You better fucking look forward to my killer performance!"

"Yeah, yeah," she drawls, resting her face in her palm and staring at the door again.

Midoriya soon comes busting through the doors, looking beat up and disgruntled.

"Deku!" She calls out, throwing the yellow costume she kept safe at his face, "You're fucking late!"

"S-sorry, Kou-chan! It's just I, well you know- I uh-" He starts scrambling for an excuse, but she just rolls her eyes.

"It doesn't matter. Just get changed quickly; we're on in 5 minutes!"

The concert was a hit: Jirou and the band had indeed killed it, and everyone watching seemed to have an amazing time. Kou and the rest of the stage crew had no complications, and she even found herself having a bit of fun while helping out.

Now it was time to clean up- thankfully the rest of 1-A would be joining in this time.

"Onee-san! Onee-san!" Kou hears her name being called while she's in the middle of sweeping the floor, and looks up to see Hiro and Machi approaching her.

She'd gotten permission from Aizawa for the kids to come to U.A. on their day off to visit the festival; something he'd easily agreed to. Despite his cold exterior, the two children had grown on the grumpy man. They'd even come to visit the dorms multiple times in the past couple weeks.

"That was so cool!" Machi cheered, "Nice song!"

"Thank you!" Kou smiled back, ruffling her hair then Hiro's. "How'd you like it, kid?"
