Wow wasn't expecting that..

I was walking around the Ranch runnin my ass off for stuff that hasn't been done in 10 months, today is my birthday and Kayce was was still acting very weird.Like he was keeping something from me.

I was walking around when I saw Jimmy and Rip talking above a whisper.So I walked over there.

"Omg a Jimmy wtf happened too your face?!"I yelled as I put his chin in the plan of my hand flipping his head side too side too check out all the bruises and cuts.

"Got into a fight."he whispered as he walked away from me.

"Jimmy!"I said as I followed him.

"Tell me what happened?"I asked him.

"Did you tell him?"he asked with his jaw clenched.

"Tell who?"I asked as I put my hands on my hips starting at him.

"Oh don't act like your fuckin dumb."he said as he rolled his eyes.

"No seriously tell me."I said as I watched his gaze fall behind me, so I turned around and looked behind me when I saw Kayce and I looked back over at Jimmy and he tensed up when he saw Kayce.

"I'll go talk too him.Go back to work."I said as I gave him a half I'm not pissed off smile.

I turned back around and walked a short ways too the porch where Kayce was sitting in a chair and watching Rip yell at Ryan and Colby too get the cows separated from the bulls.

"Hey, baby."he said as he stood up and walked over too the stairs and leaned on the post.

"What were you doin last night?"I asked him.

"Uh, I took Lloyd and Rip out for drinks after I kicked Jimmy's ass."he said looking at me.

"Why?Why would you do that?"I asked him as I walked over and sat my postpartum ass in the wooden seat.

He turned around,"because he deserved it."he said as he grabbed me too stand up.

"He's a boy he's supposed to work on the Ranch and only workin on the Ranch.I don't need him fuckin up my Relationship with my beautiful girlfriend."he said as he pulled me into a hug.

"Your right!!"I smiled.

"Kayla can I talk too you about something?"Lloyd said at the bottom of the porch stairs.

"Sure can Lloyd."I said as I turned too him.

"Ok can we-?Lloyd said pointing too the stables.

"Sure can."I smiled as I walked behind him and across the drive way too the barn full of stables.

"I need too talk too you about sumthin."he whispered as he sat on a hay bell.

"Listen here I know your gonna freak out and ask a lot of questions but."he said as he put his hand until of mine.

"I'm your daddy."he said.

I stood there shocked.

"What?How?!"I asked as I stood up staring at him pacing back and forth.

"I'm so sorry too throw this on you.But I need you too know.Me and your mother split up about when you were 5.You lived with your grandpa and grandma.Which is your moms mom and dad,You never really knew I exciting your life because I was never there.Your mother was too focused on her own life with her new boyfriend and your half older brother,Blake.He's about 29 and recently moved too Montana about 2 years ago.Well I guess not that recent anymore.But I just kept away, and when you were 14 John took you in after you grandparents died.And he gave you the brand as a second chance.That's how you and Kayce got so close.I may have never been there Kayla.But I'm your daddy."he said as he stood up.
