"Mama?!" "Tita?!" sabay naming sambit at agad naglayo.
Mama look at us with disbelief before she sighs and seriously said, "Pumasok kayong dalawa sa loob," at pumasok na siya sa loob ng bahay.
Gun and I nervously look at each other and he holds my hand as we both enter the house. Wala pa ngang isang araw ang relasyon namin pumalpak na kaagad.
Gun slightly squishing my hands as we take steps towards my mother's place, nakaupo si Mama sa salas at umupo naman kaming dalawa sa tapat niya at ng subukan kong bitawan ang kamay ni Gun ay hindi niya iyon hinayaan at mas lalong hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak sa aking kamay.
At kitang-kita ko kung paano titigan ni Mama ang kamay naming dalawa, mamatay na ata ako sa kaba dahil dito.
"Pwed----," hindi pa man natapos ni Mama ang unang salita na kanyang sasabihin ay agad na siyang inunahan ni Gun at lumuhod ito sa harap ni Mama na ikinalaki ng mata namin dalawa ni Mama.
"Tita, I know we're still young po, I know you won't approved us yet but please let us lock ourself with each other, we will stick together until the right time comes..wala po akong gagawin na masama na makakaapekto sa pag-aaral ni Sienna, mananatili po ako sa tabi niya at tutulungan siya sa lahat ng bagay.. Hindi ko po mamadaliin ang lahat I promise. Just please let us be in this relationship Tita," I don't know but I didn't expect him to be this mature already, probably if ibang lalake ito siguro natatakot na kay Mama pero si Gun...

Hinintay ko ang magiging reaksyon ni Mama sa sinabi ni Gun pero nanatili lang nakatingin si Mama kay Gun hanggang sa nagsalita muli si Gun, "I'll prove myself po Tita, I will study hard and support Sienna at all cost, I will make living po when we grow up and make sure to have a better future for the both of us po..I know I am older than her po and I should know that this is not the right time for us to be in this state but what can I do Tita? since we were young she's already the apple of my eye and I can't bear not to be at her side, so please us be in this state Tita," My lips parted after what he said and my heart seems to melt because of it.
Hinawakan ko ang kanyang balikat upang pabalikin siya sa upuan sa tabi ko pero hindi siya nagpadala at nanatiling nakatingin kay Mama, "Wala naman akong sinabing tutol ako ah," gulat akong napatingin kay Mama ng sabihin niya iyon at ngumiti siya kay Gun.
"Ma?" I utter and she just nodded at me and let me pull Gun back to our seat and this time sumunod siya pero nanatiling nakatingin kay Mama.
"Gusto ko lang na manatiling malinaw sa inyong dalawa ang goals niyo na buhay at gawin ninyong sandigan ang relasyon na bubuuin niyo upang maging malakas at matibay sa pagsubok ng buhay, at Gun anak alam kong darating ang araw na ito simula bata pa lang kayo alam na namin ni Celia ito at masaya ako na nangyari na, ngunit napaaga nga lang sa inaasahan ko hahahaha, kailangan ka ni Sienna kaya inaasahan kong magiging magkasama kayo hanggang sa huli...bata pa kayo ngayon kaya nangangako akong gagabayan ko kayo hanggang sa kaya niyo na ang sarili niyo at may matibay na kayong pundasyon sa relasyon na ito," nagulat ako ng bitawan ako ni Gun para lapitan si Mama at yakapin ng mahigpit.
"Thank you so much for understanding us Tita" bakas sa boses nito ang saya kaya tumayo na rin ako at nilapitan siya para makayakap. "Thank you Mama," I said and looked at Mama and she gave me that comforting look and smile.
After that day Gun and I told it to Tita Celia too, by facetime, and just like my mother's reaction Tita Celia expected it already and she was so excited to go back here to the Philippines but she's still pregnant so we have to wait for a year.
Starting that day Gun and I become more open and free together, he helps me with my school's works and tutored me during exam weeks, while I always support him with their games and his platform during the student council election. We've learned to handle our relationship as the days and months pass by.
"Congrats sa boyfriend mo Sienna, siya pala ang nag MVP" napalingon kaming dalawa ni Chantel ng batiin ako ng isa sa mga kaklase naming lalake, "Ahh yes, Thank you," Sagot ko at nginitian na lang siya.
"Sige mauna na ako, congrats ulit," He said and smiled before he left, "Wasn't that abuse that he's nagpapapansin lang," Chantel said as we continued reading our books here at the library.
Umiling-iling na lang ako dahil wala naman akong nakikitang masama sa sinabi nong lalaki, and his just complimenting my boyfriend which I find it so nice.
"By the way I won't be able to walk with you back to our room pala, Kuya's wai---," I cut her out and smile before I speak, "Kuya or Kace?" I said that made her eyes widen and blush. I know her so well.
She sighs and says, "Ok, you got me," she said and hides behind her book. I smile and continue reading until we both finish our work and stand up, fix our bags and walk out of the library.
"Bye, see you tomorrow," Chantel let go of my hand and quickly run down the staircase, sumilip ako mula dito sa hallway at pinanuod siyang tumakbo sa baba papuntang parking lot kung saan naghihintay si Kace.
Kace is his brother's friend and Gun's too.
I can help but to smile as I watch Chantel do a girly stuff in front of Kace, she's too obvious and cute.
"Why are you smiling alone?" Suddenly Gun appeared beside me and wrapped his arms around my waist as we both leaned on the railings.
"Delikado yan Beb mamaya nababali kana ah hahaha" maloko nitong sambit at kinurot ang aking ilong, "Bakit pag nabaliw ba ako mahal mo pa rin ba ako?" I said and faced him, making our position look like this, I was leaning against the railings while his arms are on my both sides and our face is an inch away from each other.
"Of Course Beb, that won't change even if you're the craziest girl in the world" He gently said leane closer for a kiss, I was ready to accept his kiss when...
"Hoy!!!!" agad kaming napalingon ni Gun ng may isang teacher ang sumigaw, kaming dalawa na lang ang nandito sa hallway kaya siguradong kami ang sinisita nito.
"Shoot!" Gun whispers and bites his lips, he quickly grabs my hand. "Let's go," he said with excitement on his face before he pulled me and we both ran down the staircase.
"Hoy!! Kayong mga bata kayo!!!" rinig kong sigaw ng isang teacher sa amin at sinubukan kaming kaya mas binilisan namin ni Gun ang takbo at hindi maiwasang tumawa dahil rinig na rinig dito sa hallway ang hinihingal na boses ng teacher na humahabol sa amin.
His grip on my hands sends so much assurance and excitement, "Here," he said and pulled me inside the boy's restroom for us to hide. Agad kaming pumasok sa isang cubicle para siguradong hindi makikita at ng tuluyan na itong masara, puno kami ng pagpipigil ng tawa sa loob.
It's funny because I was covering his mouth to control his laugh while he's covering mine due to the same reason. "This is the second time already; I won't let you kiss me in public anymore," I whisper.
"Really?" he said and in an instant, I just felt his lips on my cheeks, "Really huh?" he said and kissed me again on the other side.
"Gun!" madiin kong sambit pero nagpatuloy lang siya sa paghalik sa aking mukha.
"Really huh!!" again he kissed me and this time he stole a peck on my lips.
"Gun--hmf!" again he stopped me with a kiss.
