The door bell rang.
Marik sat down the book he was reading and got up to answer the door.
"Hi Marik!" Yugi said excitedly.
"Yugi...? Who did you want to show me..?" Yugi's eyes widened. "Oh! That's right!" Yugi walked in and a person followed behind him. "Hello Again, Marik." Said the figure.
Marik's eyes widened and blinked.
"Pharaoh..?"
The tri-colored, 5,000 year old spirit smiled. "It's been a day, Marik. How have you been since last night?"
Last night..? What did that mean? Marik looked down and thought a moment. "Wait. So you-? You mean you- and I-"
"I brought you home last night, Marik. You shouldn't fall asleep in alleys like that. Especially at night." Marik looked away as the Pharaoh spoke. "How did you come back? Can I ask that?"
The Pharaoh nodded. "It's quite difficult to explain. It's a blur to me how it happened. But, the millennium items have returned. I'm not sure how they came back, but they did. And I came with the puzzle. I then saw you lying in the Alley and decided to bring you home. Why where you in the alley anyways?"
Marik didn't want to say anything about crying over Bakura. "I..accidentally tripped and knocked myself out." That was the only lie he could think of. What a lame excuse.
"Ah. Be careful."
"Your not hurt are you Marik?" Yugi had asked.
"No, Yugi. I'm fine." He smiled softly.
Yugi then shot up. "Oh! Marik! I forgot! Happy Birthday!" The Pharaoh glanced at Yugi then back to Marik. "Today's your birthday? Happy Birthday, Marik. 17 is it not?" Marik nodded.
"Plans for tonight?"
"No. I think I'll stay out of public. I don't want to get involved or everyone knowing..." Marik looked outside.
"Well, can we stay for a bit? Maybe have dinner with you?" Yugi asked.
It was strange. Yugi never asked Marik to have dinner with him. "I don't mind." Marik smiled.
"Good. It settled then." The Pharaoh smiled. They soon got up and made their way to the kitchen.

Yes. These chapters are coming in quickly but I'm sitting in my basement and I have nothing to do. So...yeah~ expect a lot of chapters tonight~
