The evening following the funeral, the dwarves prepared for the grand feast to honor Thorin and Kili. Bilbo knew that Leo was focused on making sure Fili was ok, he understood that. It slowly started to sink in that he was losing his sister as well...Erebor would be her home now...Fili would be her home. He didn't want to take her away from him just yet so he decided it would be best to return home on his own for now, pack up Leo's things for her while she tended to Fili at the mountain. The thought of returning back to Bagend without Leo was something he never considered...

Bilbo walked through the gates of Erebor with Balin beside him.

"There is to be a great feast tonight. Songs will be sung, tales will be told, and Thorin Oakenshield will pass into legend."

Bilbo smiled. "I know that's how you must honor him, but to me, he was never that. He was...to me...he was..." he choked back his tears, Balin smiled kindly. "Well, I think I'll slip quietly away. Let Leo be here for Fili, he needs her. I'll be back to visit her eventually...hopefully she won't be too mad at me. Will you tell the others I said goodbye?"

 "You can tell them yourself."

Bilbo turned around to see all the dwarves lined up at the gate, including Fili. Bilbo smiled at them.

"If any of you are ever passing Bag-End, uh...tea is at four. There's plenty of it, you are welcome any time." The dwarves bowed their heads to Bilbo, all of them holding back tears. "Uh...don't bother knocking."

The dwarves laughed softly.

Bilbo turned to Fili and smiled. "You especially, I'll be seeing you a lot. Take care of her while I'm gone."

Fili laughed. "I won't have her for a while."

Bilbo raised an eyebrow. "Wha - "

"Wait!! I'm coming!" Leo's voice echoed through the hall as she burst through the dwarves, nearly knocking Bofur over. She had her backpack on as she bolted to Bilbo.

Fili cleared his throat loudly. Leo skidded to a stop, causing some dirt to fly up as she whipped around and ran back to Fili. She stood on her toes and kissed her gently.

"I'll be back." She grabbed his face lovingly.

He nodded. "Let's hope so. And I'll be here...getting everything ready. Don't find a dashing hobbit and forget about me."

"Dashing and hobbit are not two words that go together don't worry. I love you."

"I love you too. Now go, it's getting late."

Leo waved to the other dwarves before sprinting back to the utterly confused Bilbo. "What...what are you doing?"

She grabbed her backpack straps and smiled. "Going home."

"But, this is your home now."

"I have two homes...you and Fili. Wherever either of you are I'm home."
