The aftermath from training that morning weighed heavily on Vienna's shoulders as she walked, occasionally groaning from discomfort when twisting her limbs slightly the wrong way.

Saul Silva may have been proud of his daughter for going after a Burned One the way he had done years ago, but that didn't mean he was happy about it. As promised, he had pushed her harder during training than he normally would, much to his own amusement. She had even gotten another email from him when she had gotten into bed the night before.

Dumb things that Vienna Silva has done

1.Punched a Solarian Soldier
2.Almost took out her poor old dad's eye with a throwing knife
3.Actually did slash her hand trying to spin a knife (Even though I told her she was way too young for that)
4.Punched Sky (he kinda deserved it)
5.Almost drove my brand NEW car into a tree
6.Set a toaster on fire (I still don't know how that even happened)
7.Punched a different Solarian Soldier
8.Used shadow merging to scare poor pedestrians
9.Tried to steal a baby goat?? Who does that??
10.HUNTED A BURNED ONE LIKE AN IDIOT

A small smile appeared on her face as she walked through the dining room, and passed various students before she turned a corner leading towards a corridor that not many ventured down.

The hallway leading to the basement was mostly dark as Vienna strolled through, the flickering of the magical flames being the only thing providing some kind of light, whilst simultaneously casting dark ominous shadows across the stone floors.

She slowed down as she felt a presence behind her, but when she angled her head back slightly, she couldn't see anyone out in the open. As someone who had a magical connection to shadows, she knew better. The tendrils of darkness were warning her that she wasn't alone.

She continued to move down through the corridor and down the stone steps as if she was oblivious, her ears perked to listen for any movement from behind her. As she turned around the corner she quickly melted into the shadows without a trace, ready to ambush whoever was trying to sneak up on her.

As the unsuspecting figure walked around the corner, she materialised out of the shadows and placed a hand against his neck, shoving him backward until his back collided against the opposite wall, his fingers clawing at her own.

"Why are you following me, Riven?' the girl hissed as she pulled out a knife and placed it against his neck, the boy leaning back to get away from the sharp blade.

"Get that knife away from me you crazy bitch," he hissed, trying not to move in fear of the blade slicing his skin. The knife only moved closer in response. "I wanted to see where you were going!" he exclaimed with wide eyes. "You're acting sketchy and wandering down hallways that students don't go down, of course, I was gonna follow you. Now get off me!"

Vienna put on a sarcastic smile as she eyed him. "Actually, I don't think I will," she said with a smirk. "I saw that video you posted with Dane and Beatrix, and I don't appreciate seeing people disrespect my friends." Riven stayed quiet as her eyes narrowed into a glare. "Now, you're gonna rally up your little loser squad, and you're gonna apologise to Terra. Or this knife will find itself buried in your neck. Is that clear?"

"But I didn't say anythin-" The tip of the knife pressed harshly against his throat. "Okay, okay!" he exclaimed. "I'll do it!!"

"Great!" Vienna exclaimed with an overly cheery voice as she pulled the knife away and placed it back in her sleeve. She mockingly dusted off the boy's shoulders as he glared at her, before stepping away. "I'm glad we could see eye to eye, Riven."

"What is it with Sky and bat shit, crazy girls," the boy muttered as he rushed away from her, not even turning back to send one last glare in her direction. She snorted as she watched him, and turned back around when the large oak door creaked open.

"You're late," Farah stated as she gave the girl a look.

"Sorry," the raven-haired girl apologised. "I had to take care of something. I'm here now."

"Well," the woman spoke as she held the door open. "Come on in."
