While walking into his home, Izuku yelled, "I'm home! Is anyone here?"

No answer.

Izuku sighed. So Tenko and Kurogiri were busy. Great, Izuku thought with an eye roll. He'll just have to tell them the news later.

Izuku went straight for his room, and sat down at his desk. His room was kind of plain, just a few knick knacks here and there that his family had given him.

Izuku opened one of the drawers of his desk and pulled out a note book titled, #1, which simply meant his first half. He opened the notebook to the next available page, and started writing about his day.

It was a boring task, but necessary. He could suddenly change into #2, and need the blanks filled in. Or the other way around.

Once he was done writing, he switched to his second half, so he could read what he just wrote. It was a tedious process, to say the least.

"Oh I made a friend? Is that even possible?" Izuku questioned himself. His other half can be an idiot, so this was a breakthrough.

Izuku decided to try something.

He wrote something down on piece of paper, and then everything went to black, as he switched back to #1.

Izuku was in the same position as before, but this time it seemed he was writing on a paper. Izuku read what it said,

I have a hard time believing you made a friend. You're a nervous wreck and can't talk to girls! -better half

Izuku scoffed. He can make friends!

But his thoughts drifted else where. He had never actually tried talking to his other half, so this could potentially be really fun.

Izuku thought of something to say, or rather write.

A few moments later Izuku finished writing, and then switched back to #2.

#2 found himself in the same position he was in earlier, but this time, there were more words on the paper.

For the record, I can make friends! And you should be thanking me, because now you have one two.

But besides that, I was wondering, should we have separate names? Yes we're both Izuku, but I think it could be confusing if someone was talking about one half but really meant the other. What do you think? -1

"He just had to write '1' didn't he?" Izuku questioned himself. "At least he understood what I was trying to do though."

And with that, Izuku started writing on the paper, switching back to #1, once he was done.

The boys 'talked' to each other the rest of the day, until it started getting late, and they said their goodbyes.

Izuku #1 looked at the paper, sighing in annoyance at the conversation. It was good at first, but it turned into an argument.

I've had the idea of having separate names for a while, idiot. Hey! That should be your name. Idiot. I like it. -the better one

What?! No! My name can't be idiot! I'm being serious. We should have actual different names. -1

I'm being serious, Idiot. But if you really want, I guess your name could just be your civilian name. You'll be using it a lot once school starts. -your superior

Yeah that's great! Surprisingly, you can be smart sometimes! -Kiyokan

I am smart! You're the dumba**! -Izuku

I'm the smart one. You're the mean one. -Kiyokan

You're somewhat smart. I'm the mean AND smart one. -Izuku

Whatever. This is why I made a friend and you didn't. -Kiyokan

You're just getting soft. Training with All Might to be a hero has changed you. -Izuku

No it hasn't! -Kiyokan

You hesitated! That message took way too long to be written. You ARE changing! Are you even still a villain? -Izuku

Of course I am. I can't forgive All Might that easily for taking dad away from us. -Kiyokan

Just because you can't forgive him doesn't mean you're still a villain. AND what's worse, is that you haven't told anyone about this training or new quirk. Why haven't you told Tenko yet? I'm tempted to just do it myself. -Izuku

What? No! I'm just waiting for dad to be available. I want him to be the first to know. He can answer some of my questions too. -Kiyokan

You can be so annoying, but whatever. I'm tired, which means you are too. Let's just get to bed. -Izuku

Fine. Talk to you tomorrow. -Kiyokan

Sure.

Kiyokan looked at the last message. Did he mess things up already? Would he really get to talk to his other half tomorrow?

Kiyokan sighed. It was a problem for his tomorrow self. Right now, he gets to go to sleep.

Tenko sighed as he walked into his home. Izuku was probably asleep by now. He missed his chance to be with his brother for the day.

He carefully walked to his room, making sure Izuku was actually asleep. Once he got inside, he took all the hands off his body. He's been out being Tomura Shigaraki the past few days.

Tenko doesn't know why his father won't let him tell Izuku yet. But he's sure eventually he'll get to inform his little brother of his alias.

Tenko walked out of his room, hand free, and peered into Izuku's.

Just as he thought, he was fast asleep. Tenko glances around the room, his eyes catching Izuku's desk. It was covered in note books and papers.

For studying? He wondered. He was tempted to read them, but Izuku should have his own privacy. Tenko will just ask his brother about the papers tomorrow. He's sure they're nothing.
