Y/n POV:
"Hey Tom are you okay?" I asked grabbing a plate from the cabinet. "Uh yeah just thinking," he replied. I just nodded and walked over to the stove. Shay had made bacon, eggs, and biscuits for breakfast a few minutes after I came downstairs.

There was a thick tension in the room and it was making me sick. I could feel the negative energy bouncing off each of them.

"Is everything okay?," I finally spoke up. Tom just looked at me and Shay stayed quiet. A few moments later she spoke up.

"Uh mhm dear everything's great! We will have a visitor later for lunch," she smiled.

"Oh okay who is it?"

"One of Toms friends Ciara, she went to his old school and the girl wanted to stop by to catch up" Shays tone changed completely. Her words were followed with a forced smile. Something wasn't right here her story didn't seem real. Why would she lie?

"Oh okay that sounds fun! Getting to meet one of Toms old mates," I smiled. Tom laughed at my comment. I looked at him with confusion written on my face. "Did I say something amusing?" He just shook his head no and continued to stare off into nothing.

Something about that girl coming over was wrong in every way. He never acts like this towards anyone from what i've heard.

After we all got done eating Tom went straight upstairs and into his room. Shay and I stayed downstairs and cleaned up from breakfast. It was quieter than it usually was, everyone's mood was off. I wanted to ask what's wrong with everyone but something told me not to.

Tom's POV:
'Why do I have to be such a nice guy!' I muttered to myself. My heart didn't feel right at all at this very moment.

Was this the right play?

Letting my girlfriend come over and meet y/n? Ciara wouldn't like the idea of me laying next to y/n every night, doing photo shoots together, oh and my mum actually liking y/n. Everything just seemed to be happening way to fast, I haven't been able to just relax since this morning. I'm afraid of what's to come of today.

*TIME SKIP TO CIARA COMING OVER*

It was currently 12:30 and Ciara would be here any moment. I took a shower and put on nice, well decent clothes and did my hair kind of. I've been messing with my hair for the past 20 minutes.

Y/n was sitting in mums room getting her hair braided. Mum was good at doing other peoples hair.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

"Hey Tom can I come in?," Y/n asked from the other side of the bedroom door. "Yeah," I yelled in a frustrated tone. As she walked in I gasped at how beautiful she looked. Mum had apprently did a little make-up on her and her braids looked dashing.
"You look good y/n," I smiled.

"Thank you!! Do you need help with your hair?"

I turned to her and nodded, this made her laugh. As she walked over to me I couldn't help but stare. She's my best friend and truly a beautiful sight to see.

"How would you like your hair?," she asked while combing through it.

"Anything that will make me look good"

"But you already look good Tom your hair was fine before"

I started to smile to myself at that comment. "Thank you I guess don't change nothing then"

"Okay here ya go" she handed me back my comb and walked over to my bed. I put back my comb and walked over to the bed with her.

I had to tell her about Ciara well the truth at least. It would hurt y/n more if I lied straight to her face about the whole situation.

"Ciaras my girlfriend," I blurted out. Y/n's face dropped and it almost looked emotionless. "Say something please y/n!"

"Haha I scared you didn't I," She laughed. "That's cool you have a girlfriend why didn't you tell me before?"

"The idea or thought never came to mind but mum doesn't like her nor do I... I think" at this point my hands started to fidget. Y/n noticed and took hold of my hands.

"Hey it's okay explain to me everything. How you feel and what's making you think all this," she smiled. I took a deep breath in and just let it all out.

"When I first met Ciara she was a very smart and shy girl. No one in our school talked to her, only because she kept to herself and never really participated in anything. My thought was maybe she just didn't have friends so I went up to her and made the first move. After that we became close friends for a few weeks, until she started to act different per-say. I noticed that she would flirt a lot with me in a 'I like you' type way rather than a friend way. Of course you know I didn't understand what that really meant. I wasn't really into the idea of dating because of how many times I changed schools. It would be difficult to date someone far far away from me. But she eventually convinced me to start dating her. So I asked her out. Things only got more strange from there. Ciara started to become 'popular' in our school. More and more girls started hanging out with her, getting close, and all that. People in my school didn't know I was an actor who made good money until she started to go around saying I was. Her friend Chloe was interfering a lot in our relationship. Each time I would buy her a gift Chloe would make some comment saying, "oh he doesn't love you that ring is cheap he could've bought you something better" or would say "how come he isn't buying you gifts every week like a good boyfriend should". So this made Ciara very picky and mean. Every time I bought her something she would ask how much it was and if it was cheap she wouldn't talk to me for a couple of days. Then things got even worse. Ciara started to control who I hung out with or who I talked to on a daily basis. If a girl was "too pretty" in her opinion I had to stop talking to her or she would think I was cheating. I couldn't hang out with the guys unless I got her something. When she went out I paid for her dinner and clothes. I know all this sounds horrible and makes her seem like a bad person but she's also my first girlfriend in a way and I don't want her upset so I did everything she wanted me to do for her."

Y/n sat there and stared at me with pure sadness in her eyes. "T-Tom I'm sorry don't you s- I'm sorry" She pulled me into a hug wrapping her arms around my neck. It kind of took me by surprise when she hugged me but after a few seconds I hugged her back. I don't understand why she's hugging me though...

"TOM CIARA'S HERE!" mum yelled from downstairs. Y/n quickly let go of me and wiped her eyes. Apparently she was crying when she was hugging me. "I guess let's go," she quietly spoke as she got up.

I got up and walked to the door with her. I'm scared to go down there and let y/n meet Ciara. As we walked down I grew more and more nervous. What will Ciara think about y/n? What will y/n think about Ciara?

I had a feeling this wasn't going to be good.

Y/n POV:
As I approached the bottom step a shortish, brunette, girl standing beside Shay came into view. My heart started to speed up more.

"Y/n!," Shay beamed. She had stopped whatever conversation she was having with Ciara to call on me. Ciara turned around and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Hello y/n, I'm Ciara Toms Girlfriend," Ciara really dragged the word girlfriend out putting a lot of attitude and tone into it as well. I rolled my eyes internally. "Hi Ciara," I said while a fake smile spread across my face. I put out my hand for her to shake. She rolled her eyes and ignored my hand shake.

She shoved past me and walked up to Tom to give him a hug. "Hi baby!!!," she squealed. "Hey Ciara," Tom smiled into the hug. It felt weird seeing them together only if he could see who she really was....

A gold digger.
