I'm woken by shouting coming from the courtyard.
It was still dark out, why is everyone awake? I better go see whats going on.
I slip on my shoes and put on my jacket. It was raining out, and it sounded heavy.
I could hear the shouting more clearly.
"Wheres Clementine?!"
It was AJ.
"AJ, put the gun down!" Louis tells him.
"Get this fucking psycho away from me!" Marlon shouts.
What the hell is happening?
I rush outside and see everyone standing in the courtyard, watching as AJ continues to point a gun at Marlon.
"Where is she?!" AJ demands.
Lightning strikes in the distance, and Rosie barks repeatedly.
"She... She's in the basement. She-- she murdered Brody!"
Brody's dead? What the fuck happened?
"What?" Willy says shocked.
"Is that blood on your face?" Mitch asks.
"Why Brody?" Ruby asks.
"Did you see it happen?" Aasim says.
"Is she a walker now?" Willy asks angrily.
"Thats bullshit Marlon!"
Clementine shouts from behind them, and everyone turns around, clearly cautious of her.
AJ's face brightens as he sees she's ok.
"You killed Brody. You hit her so hard her head split open!" She shouts at Marlon.
Everyone backs away as Clementine approaches him.
"Thats a lie. I saw you kill her!" He shouts.
Violet and Tenn come out of the building, finally woken by the noise.
"What the hell is going on?" She asks.
"Look at her hands! She's covered in Brodys blood!" Marlon points at her.
And they were. I felt a tight knot in my stomach as it finally sunk in. Brody's actually dead. It was hard to believe. But who killed her? Was it actually Clementine? Why would she do that?
"Jesus Christ, Clem." Aasim steps back.
"What did you do!?" Tenn asks.
AJ looks at her, not knowing who to believe.
Marlon rushes over as AJ drops his guard, and grabs the gun off of him, then pushes him to the floor.
He holds it in the air and everyone steps back.
"We saved their lives, when anyone else would've kept walking. We fed them, kept them alive, and this how they thank us!? Guns being pulled, and murder!"
He points the gun at Clementine.
"Well FUCK. THEM!"
"What the fuck?" Willy says.
"Marlon!" Mitch shouts.
"Jesus Christ." Omar backs up.
"You shoot me, and what do you offer to your raider friends when they come knocking!?" Clementine asks.
Raiders?
"What the hell is she talking about?" Aasim asks.
"He wont do it because he needs us alive!" She shouts.
