I stepped out of the dorms just in time to see Aasim get punched in the stomach by Willy, who then storms off. Aasim hunches over.
"What the shit?!" Violet shouts.
Louis walks over to him.
"Dude, are you okay?"
"Yeah, fine. Shit!"
Aasim walks over to the couches and sits down.
"Christ, we'll all kill each other before the raiders get a fuckin' chance." Violet says.
"Right, what we need is something to break the tension."
Louis walks off towards Aasim, and sits beside him.
Clementine notices me watching and gestures for me to join them.
"Hey, buddy, hows it hanging?" Louis asks.
"Dude, fuck off." Aasim says.
Clementine sits down in the armchair, and Violet sits on the other couch. She notices me and pats the seat beside her. I oblige, sitting down.
"Sulking in a corner isnt gonna help us fight off the raiders. Or turn that frown upside down." Louis teases.
"You get more annoying everyday." Aasim tells him.
"Regardless..." Louis shrugs it off. "I've come up with a plan to make everybody feel better. And that plan is a game."
He takes out cards from his pocket. Of course it involves cards.
"Uh, we havent played a game in weeks, since that night with Marlon." Violet says.
Aasims attention seemed to be fixed on something else.
Louis smirks.
"I mean, if you wanna go ask Ruby to come play, I dont mind waiting."
"No way!" A huge grin pops up on my face.
"Mhm." Louis nods.
"Shut up dude! I swear to god." Aasim panics.
"You've got a crush on Ruby?" Violet asks.
Aasim doesnt answer, but a faint smile appears as he looks away. Thats all we needed.
"What are we playing?" AJ walks over with Tenn, joining in on our game.
"Truth or Dare!" Louis answers.
"You dont use cards in truth or dare." Violet says.
"You do in this version. Everyone draws. Highest card gets to ask, lowest card has to answer."
He passes around the cards and everyone took one out of the pile.
Clementine had the lowest card, while Violet had the highest.
"This should be good. Lets see." She thinks about what to ask. "Truth. Marry-Fuck-Kill."
"Vi." Tenn gives off to her for her use of profanity.
"Fine. Marry-Flip-Kill." She corrects herself. "Ruby, Aasim or... (Y/n)"
I give Violet a look of unapproval to my addition. She just smirks.
"Oh my god." Clementine shakes her head.
"You gotta answer. Them's the rules." Louis says.
"Mm. Lets see. I would marry... Ruby."
"Watch out Aasim, she's totally gonna swoop in and ruin your dream." Louis jokes.
"You gotta admit, Clems a way better catch than you." Violet tells Aasim.
He rolls his eyes.
Wasnt the point of this to make him feel better? Anyway, that leaves me for either flip or kill.
