After making our way down Death Tower, and walking towards the courtyard, Omar runs towards us.
"Thank god, we've been looking everywhere." He says.
"We were just up in the tower. Everythings all--"
"Theyre here." Omar cuts Violet off.
Fuck. Tonight of all nights.
We rush back to the courtyard, where everyone was gathered.
"We're ready." Omar tells Clementine.
"They've got at least six more people, all carrying guns. And carts. Probably to carry people away." Clementine informs us.
"Oh no." Willy looks scared.
"Assholes." Mitch breaths out.
"I cant believe they're really here." Ruby says.
"If they get inside, I'll keep them focused on me." Clementine tells us. "That should give Willy and Mitch time so set up the bomb."
"I'll set it underneath those carts." Mitch says. "It'll work. I promise."
"If they manage to get in, we fall back."
"To the admin building." Louis points.
"Exactly. Right into our traps." Clementine says.
"They're in for a rude fuckin surprise." Aasim smirks. "Those duffel bags will break bones. Easy."
I take my axe out of its holster, toss the bag away, then slip on the mask, putting up my hood. Everyone stares for a bit but they dont say anything.
"So, uh, any final words of wisdom?" Louis asks.
Clementine steps up.
"No matter what happens, look out--"
A gun goes off and Omar falls to the floor, bleeding from his leg.
"Hide, now!" Clementine shouts, and everyone scatters.
"Omar!" Violet bends down.
"I've got him, go!" I tell her.
I grab him from underneath his arms and drag him towards cover.
We could hear the raiders shouting from outside the gate.
"C'mon push!"
It sounded like the guy from the train station.
"Clementine?! I know you're in there!"
That voice however, I was not familiar with, but I'm assuming its the woman Clementine mentioned. Lilly.
"Clementine!?" She calls.
The raiders sounded calm. Oh, how that was about to change.
The sniper tried to take a shot at me as I dragged Omar, but hit the table beside me.
"Oh shit!" Omar shouted.
I finally drag him behind cover and let go of him.
"Keep pressure on that wound, okay? You're gonna be alright."
He nods through gritted teeth.
"Open up, kids!" The man shouts.
A molotov is thrown, hitting the barricade infront of the gate.
"This doesnt have to get any uglier!"
Clementine makes a run for her bow, and grabs it, almost getting shot in the process.
She flips over the table it was on and hid behind it.
