Part Two

Emma bit her lip watching the monitor which showed Mickey and Rose standing outside. She looked away when she felt someone nudge her gently.

"They'll be okay." The Doctor reassured her.

"I know," Emma sighed, turning off the monitor. "I'm just worried for them." She admitted, curling into the Doctor's side. The Doctor opened his mouth but before he could say anything to ease the brunette's nerves Margaret spoke up.

"I gather it's not always like this, having to wait." Margaret paused, she sat in the lower part of the console room away from everyone else with her back facing them, "I bet you're always the first to leave, Doctor. Never mind the consequences, off you go." She sneered, "You butchered my family and then ran for the stars, am I right? But not this time. At last you have consequences. How does it feel?"

Emma let out a shaky breath and squeezed the Doctor's hand gently, she knew that there was no other choice. It was either the Slitheen (along with the Doctor, Emma, Rose and Harriet stuck in an office) or the Earth. There wasn't much of a choice.

"I didn't butcher them." The Doctor replied quietly.

Jack sent a glare to the Slitheen, "Don't answer back. That's what she wants."

"I didn't." The Doctor said sternly, "What about you? You had an emergency teleport. You didn't zap them to safety, did you?"

"It only carries one. I had to fly without coordinates. I ended up on a skip in the Isle of Dogs." Margaret grimaced.

The Doctor chuckled, dodging Emma's elbow when she sent him a scolding look.

"It wasn't funny." Margaret huffed, looking over her shoulder at the Timelord.

"Sorry." The Doctor grinned, not sorry in the least, "It is a bit funny." He said before laughing again, this time with Jack joining in leaving Emma to shake her head with a fond smile on her face.

Margaret turned around to face the three by the console, "Do I get a last request?" She asked with narrowed eyes.

The Doctor pursed his lips and tilted his head, looking down at the Slitheen. "Depends what it is."

"I grew quite fond of my little human life." Margaret shrugged, turning away again with a small smile. "All those rituals. The brushing of the teeth, and the complicated way they cook things. There's a little restaurant just round the Bay. It became quite a favourite of mine."

Emma cocked an eyebrow and hopped onto the ledge of the console sharing a quick look with the Doctor, "So you would like a last meal?"

"Don't I have rights?" Margaret asked flatly.

"Oh, like she's not going to try to escape." Jack rolled his eyes as the Doctor moved to stand by the railing closer to Margaret.

"Except I can never escape the Doctor," Margaret snapped, standing up sending a glare to Jack, "So where's the danger? I wonder if you could do it? To sit with a creature you're about to kill and take supper. How strong is your stomach?"
