"Go to your room!" The Doctor ordered in a stern voice, a glare set in his grey eyes. Each patient froze in their steps. The room was silent once they stopped chanting as well. "Go to your room." He repeated, "I mean it. I'm very, very angry with you. I am very, very cross. Go to your room!"
Emma watched slack jawed and wide eyed when the patients hung their heads in a guilty manner and shuffled back to bed.
"I'm really glad that worked." The Doctor sighed in relief, pulling the brunette into a quick hug, "Those would have been terrible last words."

"Why are they all wearing gas masks?" Emma asked, her curious brown eyes still on the unmoving patients. She stood behind Rose while the blonde crouched in front of one of the beds.
"They're not." Jack gulped with a grimace, "Those masks are flesh and bone."
"How was your con supposed to work?" The Doctor questioned the ex-time agent who sat by the desk in the middle of the room with his feet up.
"Simple enough, really." Jack shrugged, "Find some harmless piece of space junk, let the nearest Time Agent track it back to Earth, convince him it's valuable, name a price. When he's put fifty percent up front, oops! A German bomb falls on it, destroys it forever. He never gets to see what he's paid for, never knows he's been had. I buy him a drink with his own money, and we discuss dumb luck. The perfect self-cleaning con." He clicked his tongue with a smirk.
"Yeah. Perfect." The Doctor replied dryly.
"The London Blitz is great for self-cleaners. Pompeii's nice if you want to make a vacation of it though, but you've got to set your alarm for volcano day." Jack laughed before he narrowed his eyes at the Timelord who just glared at the man, "Getting a hint of disapproval." He quipped with a grin.
The Doctor lifted his hands and gestured to the surroundings, "Take a look around the room. This is what your harmless piece of space-junk did." He scoffed.
"It was a burnt-out medical transporter. It was empty." Jack insisted.
The Doctor scowled at him and reached out for Emma's hand. The brunette took his hand and was immediately whisked away towards the door by the frustrated Timelord. "Rose!" He called over his shoulder when he didn't see her follow.
"Are we getting out of here?" Rose asked, having to jog slightly to catch up with them.
