The rain had been on and off all day, everyone stayed inside the castle, avoiding the bad weather but not you, the rain was relaxing, the smell of fresh air with a nature smell to it felt like bliss

You stood out in the middle of the training field with your arms by your side and mouth open, sticking out your tongue, trying to catch raindrops. you felt at peace. something you rarely felt in this world.

But someone had been watching you, captain Levi. he watched you laugh and spin in circles in the pouring rain from his window, he couldn't help but smile, in that moment you looked so carefree.

It was getting close to curfew and the sun was beginning to set. he grabbed his cloak and headed outside to retrieve you

she had her back to him so she didn't notice his presence until he was right behind her.

You squeaked in surprise, turning around to meet in piecing gray eyes. he had his cloak on over his head, silence overfell you both for a few moments until he pulled his hood down, rain soaking his hair, droplets of rain rolled down onto his face. very much like yours

He cleared his throat, nodding down to your chest. The rain had soaked your white shirt leaving your bra and cleavage completely visible. your face turned red from embarrassment, crossing your arms across your chest in attempt to hide it

Levi hummed in amusement as he draped his damp cloak around your shoulders. which you accepted, still feeling completely flustered. "what are you doing anyway? you'll catch a cold" he said plainly. "enjoying the rain" you grinned.

Levi watched you with amusement and curiosity. he then pulled your wrist. walking back towards the building. "sir. wait, please" you pleaded. Levi turned around, furrowing his brows "yes cadet (y/l)" he said, still holding your wrist

"can we stay here for a few more minutes?" You asked smiling. Levi looked at you in silence, you decided to take control of the situation, catching him off guard. Grabbing both of his hands, you began to spin, Levi latched his hands onto yours, you both now spinning hand in hand in the rain

You let out cry of joy looking happily into his eyes, he couldn't help the smile that crept onto his lips. most cadets cowered in his presence but not you. You were just yourself, no filter, but not in a rude way.

he pulled away holding you by one hand then twirling you under his arm before pulling you into his chest. you laughed holding onto his wet shirt. He held you in his arms with contempt. This moment was perfect. The rain had completely soaked you both by this point.

you pulled away looking into his eyes, water continuing to drip down your face and hair. You felt yourself getting lost in his gaze. he glanced down at your soft lips. "can I kiss you?" he asked catching you off guard, your eyes widened.

he waited patiently for your response, his stoic stare softened. "yes"

his lips crashed onto yours as he cupped your cheek, you kissed back without hesitation, his mouth tasted like tea and mint. it was heavenly.

You smiled into the kiss as it began to end as did he, leaning your foreheads together. "can we do this more often?" you giggled "if you mean kissing then yes but not this, we're soaked" he said

you laughed pulling both his hands, you began to spin again. "c'mon! this is fun"

Hanji and Erwin watched them from the castle doors. smiles etched onto their faces "aww look at shorty and (y/n). wait till I tell everyone" she grinned mischievously.

"he'll kill you Hanji" Erwin warned her.

"its worth it" she said speeding down the hall
