The sky was dark and the rain was torrential but that was the least of your concerns as you ran, your lungs aching from lack of oxygen, your feet and legs were cut and scrapped from running through the forest barefoot but you only had time to flee with the clothes on your back.

Your heart was beating five times as fast and you could hear it gaining on you. you glanced behind you into the darkness and though the rain made it almost impossible to see its distorted face

Its face was white with two black holes where the eyes should have been, that's all you could make out, you weren't stopping to see more. you let out an ear piecing scream as you fell over a large fallen tree branch.

you tried to scramble to your feet but the minute you looked up it was there, right in front of you.

you jolted up with a gasp, looking around with wide eyes in a cold sweat. you were still in bed, it was just a dream, thank god, you thought. you laid back down and turned to see Levi was still next to you asleep. you smiled softly, brushing some of his hair away from his face. you then turned back to look up at the ceiling, what the hell was that dream all about? eventually after a while of thinking you drifted of to sleep

you groaned as light began to flood the room, Levi was already awake and opening the curtains because he knew that was the best way to make you actually get up.

you sat up with bags under your eyes, feeling exhausted. "Are you okay (y/n)?" Levi asked, furrowing his brows, you looked at him with confusion "yeah why wouldn't I be?" you said

"because you look like shit" he replied. "yeah I didn't have the best sle-" you stopped talking as you threw the covers back, your legs and feet were all cut and scraped and covered in dirt. your eyes filled with horror.

"what the hell (y/n) I just washed these sheets. why would you get into bed like that?" Levi said pulling the covers away from you to inspect them. Levi looked up scowling at you but his face softened when he saw how scared and confused you were, and through all the dirt he noticed your legs were cut up.

He dropped the sheets and walked over to you, pulling you up onto your feet causing you to wince and sit back down. "what happened (y/n)?" Levi said sitting down beside you "I-I- d-duh-don't kno-" as the initial shock wore off you began to sob, Levi pulled you into his chest as he stroked your hair while resting his chin on top of your head.

After a few minutes your sobs turned into sniffles and whimpers. you pulled away wiping the rest of your tears away, you then went on to tell Levi everything, about your dream and what happened.

"but that doesn't make any sense" Levi said. "I know" you replied, barley above a whisper. "I think you must have been sleep walking" he said and you looked up at him with furrowed brows. "but it felt so real" you mumbled
