"this doesn't look like cleaning to me," corbyn said, walking into mollie's bedroom to find her still in her bed, staring at the wall beside it, "are you okay?"
"i miss grandpa." she shrugged, "i started it but i gave up because i got sad."
the boy slowly nodded, glancing over to the corner of the room that she had put a small amount of effort into cleaning as he sighed and placed down his car keys and phone.
"what did you want to talk to me about?"
"just something i did." he shrugged, sitting down on her chair beside her desk while mollie sat up and looked at him confused, "a few nights ago."
"okay...?" mollie tilted her head as corbyn frowned.
"i slept with someone." corbyn told her whilst shaking his head, "i went to a party and i got drunk and then the next morning i woke up in some random girl's room."
"why does that concern me we aren't-"
"because we made a promise." he interrupted her, "i know we aren't dating and we're just friends but i still made that promise that i'd wait and i don't want you thinking that was me trying to move on."
"well we're friends," mollie shrugged, "you're allowed to do that, i don't see the problem."
"i didn't want you thinking i'd break the promise," he threw his hands up as mollie gave him a nod, "that's all, but while you're working on yourself then i'm also going to work on myself, so we can kind of do it together."
