Confessions of Two Great Friends

It's been a few months since Alfred and Kiku's friendship had started, and Alfred couldn't help but fall in love with the Japanese girl every time their friendship grows stronger. He wanted to confess all of it, but he was too shy and nervous to tell it. He was also scared that Kiku might ignore and break their friendship.

But little did he know, Kiku was feeling the same way. She loves Alfred, but she was afraid that he might not accept the feelings or might ignore her for the rest of her life.

It's time to face the consequences. Alfred was a man, so he must do what he needs to do. Now is the time to confess to the girl he loved, and he doesn't care if Kiku would like him back.

It was then that Kiku was busy cooking and her sisters were busy annoying her. Kiku's temper was almost on the loose now, but she just held it and continues her cooking. But, there is a certain thing that made her snap out.

"Would you please stop that?! You're so annoying."

The girls scowled, and Mei immediately went towards her. "Just who do you think you are, huh? You have no right to shout on us like that."

Mei was about to slap her after that, but their mother walked in, witnessing the events. "Just what do you think you're doing to your sister?!"

Mei immediately backed away, looking away from her mother. "Um, Mūqín, I can explain everything."

"No need. I saw all the evidences. You're grounded."

The girls snapped out. "Why? She was the one who started it and not us. Why blaming us?"

Their mother was raged. "Why are you answering me that way? You have no right to blabber in front of me. You should pay more respect. Go to your rooms. I don't want you going out without me knowing."

The girls stomped into their rooms. Kiku remained still, cooking until the meal was finished. She was about to place the said food when an unexpected doorbell was heard. She went there and opened the door, only to find Alfred holding some flowers.

"Alfred-san, what are you doing here?"

Alfred gazed down, and there is a certain red that forms on his face. A blush. "Well, I need to tell you something."

"Something? What is it?"

Alfred grabbed her arm and ran through some place they call garden. As they stopped there, Alfred immediately gave the flowers to her. Trying to hide the blush, Kiku looked away.

"Thanks for the flowers, Alfred-san. But, Valentines' Day was already finished. But still, thank you."

Alfred smiled, clearing his throat before saying anything. "Well, the thing is..."

"What is it?

"I like you."

Kiku couldn't believe it. Impossible. Alfred-san likes me?! How come??
