A Solution for Jealousy

What am I going to do with the two of them? This are the words that keeps popping on Mei's head. She can't find a way on how to make the two stop from fighting each other. Yong Soo was still on the ground, trying to stand up, while Ivan was watching the other struggle in pain.

Then, again, Yong Soo stood up and attacked the Russian. Ivan readied his bloody pipe and smashed it on the Korean's arm. Yong Soo was slightly hurt but uses his other arm to punch on Ivan's gut. They kept on fighting for a few minutes until both of them had given up. They were mildly unconscious and was lying on the floor. Mei couldn't help but run towards them and started shouting for help.

Both Yong Soo and Ivan's parents decided that the boys should stay in a single room. Ivan complained about it but his mother immediately stopped him, which he only groaned in acceptance. Mei was on their bedsides, watching the two of them in their slumber. She smiled at the thought of two boys fighting over her. But she dismissed those thought and focused on the two.

Ivan suddenly opens his eyes and smiles after seeing Mei. Mei was glad and hugged the Russian, which made him groan in pain.

"Sorry, I didn't notice that you still have those, bandages or something."

"It's alright. At least, I'm fine now." He gave her an innocent smile. He looks at his side and saw Yong Soo still sleeping. His smile decreased. You. You are the reason why I ended up in this place. You are such a disgrace. You shouldn't have survived.

Yong Soo, soon opening his eyes, saw the Russian staring at him. He glared at Ivan and whispered something to himself. Why am I with this stupid, anyway? He should've died by now.

After seeing Yong Soo, Mei immediately ran towards him and hugged him gently. The Korean happily hugs back, and this made Ivan twitch in jealousy. Mei notices this and she immediately pulled away.

Why do good moments have to end. Yong Soo muttered to himself. Mei awkwardly glanced at the two of them, who keeps on glaring at each other. Only Mei could do was sigh and stayed speechless.

"Tell me, why do you have to fight each other for me? You shouldn't have done that! How about if both of you died? I will be so so sad."

The boys fixed their gazes at her and their eyes softened. Mei was very very sad for the two of them, and slightly excused herself for a moment. The boys, who were awkwardly sitting on their beds, remained quiet. A few minutes had passed, but Mei was still not returning, so Ivan decided to speak up.

"Do you really love her. Please tell me. I need you to be honest. Do. You. Really. Love. Mei?"

Yong Soo stayed speechless. He remained quiet for the rest of the minute until he finally spoke up.

"Seriously, I really do love Mei, but as a friend only. I just, did get jealous because he was always talking about you, and she was slowly losing his focus on me, and she keeps on focusing you more. It reallt hurts a lot to me, so I had to do it for the sake of our ftiendship. I honestly am supporting the two of you, but, because of that, oh, ignore me please." He lowered his head for a moment.

Ivan gasped in surprise. "So, that means you don't love her as a lover?" He only saw a nod. Ivan smiled a bit. "Then, why haven't you told me? You should've told me first. I almost killed you, you know?"

Yong Soo released a light giggle. "I know, I know. I'm sorry." In that moment, Mei entered the room, with a content smile on her face. Ivan was about to say something but Mei immediately stopped him.

"I already know. I have been outside your room the whole time. I just wanted you to say something towards each other. Now, that I already heard it." She walked towards Yong Soo and hugged him tightly. "Why haven't you told me. I'm so sorry if I am not talking about you more. I promise I would manage my time on Ivan and you."

Yong Soo smiled at this and happily hugged back. "Thanks, Mei."
