Chapter 20- I Was Stuck in a Tree

Sapnap stood there and watched Karl dig around for some nail polish in his drawers. He eventually found some black nail polish and walked back over to Sapnap.
"I found it!"

"Great!" Sapnap looked at him.

"Now what, person?"

Sapnap laughed a bit, "let's go in the bathroom so we don't stain the carpet. I'll help you put it on"

Karl nodded, "Where is that-.."

"This way" Sapnap walked across the room to a small door that led to Karl's bathroom.

"Here- Sit on the counter"

Karl jumped onto the counter and put his hands on his lap.

"Alright- uh" Sapnap picked up the nail polish, "Hold your hands still"

Karl nodded, putting his hands further out.

Sapnap started carefully painting Karl's nails one by one. It was a bit messy but it still looked decent. Karl made sure to keep his hand still throughout the entire process.

Sapnap was pretty much finished and sat the nail polish on the counter, closing it. "Now you have to let them dry for a few minutes" he looked up at him and smiled.

"Okay!" Karl smiled back.

"Do you like them-?"

"I do!"

"I think I did pretty good" Sapnap grinned.

Karl jumped off the counter and gave Sapnap a hug- Sapnap hugging him back tightly.

Karl let go of him and kissed his cheek before running out of the bathroom.

"I- kArL!" Sapnap's cheeks were pink and he was still confused on why Karl, despite his loss of memory, still showed him affection like that. He turned around and chased after him.

Karl ran into Sapnap's office, closing the door behind him. Sapnap followed him and ran up to the door, confused again.
"Uhh- Hello?" He knocked.

"Don't come in!" Karl said from the room.

"Why-?"

"Uh- Because"

"Are you messing with my computer-? Karl!" Sapnap wasn't as concerned as he thought he should be- in fact- he was laughing this entire time.

"No—!"

"Please let me in!"

"Uh- I can't!"

"Why!?"

"Because!"

"Is there a reason?"

"No, not really!"

"Then" Sapnap was amused by this entire light hearted and dumb yelling, "Why can't you let me in?"

"Because!"

Sapnap shook his head with a smile on his face and just simply opened the door.
Karl was sat at the chair, discord opened to his server.

"Oh my god Karl- What are you doing?" Sapnap walked over to him and chuckled.

"I was just looking"

They both looked back at the screen, almost in sink. There was a 'hello' message that Karl had sent. He was slouched down looking at Sapnap like he was about to get in trouble.
