Chapter 24- Mumbling Secrets

Sapnap looked like he had been crying earlier that night. Karl had woken up and was looking at him. He frowned and started to get out of bed.

Sapnap mumbled, "Where are you going..?" His eyes were still closed.

Karl looked back down at him, "Uhm- Nowhere.."

"Please.. Don't go back"

"Go back... Where?" Karl played dumb.

"In time.." Sapnap started, "back in time- Back in that portal- Karl- Please"

Karl blinked, "Uhm- I wasn't going there.."

"Then- Where?" Sapnap's voice was weak.

Karl just stuttered, not being able to get a proper word out.

"At least let me go with you.. Karl, I don't want you getting hurt anymore"

"No! Don't you remember last time?" Karl said.

"I don't care" Sapnap slowly sat up.

"Sapnap.."

"Please- Let me go with you"

"Sapnap, you can't" Karl argued.

"Why not?" Sapnap looked at Karl with a worried expression.

"You might as well just go back to sleep" Karl ignored the question.

"Please don't go tonight- At least tonight"

Karl sighed. "Fine, but I better get something out of this"

"Like what?" Sapnap asked.

"Literally anything good" Karl replied.

Sapnap raised an eyebrow, "Well what do you want?"

"Anything Sapnap"

"Do you have anything in mind?" Sapnap chuckled.

"A day of attention" Karl said, "and affection"

"Easy" Sapnap started, "I always give you attention"

"What about affection?"

"I can try- Now.. Please come back?"

Karl gently smiled and nodded. He climbed back onto the bed and hugged onto Sapnap, laying down with him.

"Thanks.." Sapnap mumbled and closed his eyes again.

Karl rested his head on Sapnap's chest, slowly falling asleep.

Karl opened his eyes, hugging onto Sapnap tightly.

Sapnap mumbled something and opened his eyes as well. He hummed and looked at Karl.

"Hi.." Karl greeted, his eyes hooded.

Sapnap made a small noise and closed his eyes again and putting his head back down. He hugged onto him and hummed a familiar song to himself.

"Is today affection day?" Karl asked, chuckling.

"Mhm.." This time it was Sapnap that had his head rested on Karl's chest, "I don't know how to do it though"

"Just like- Kisses and cuddles and hugs and.. yeah"

Sapnap hummed again in response and looked up at him. He placed a small hesitant kiss on Karl's chin and then put his head back down.
