jaemin was woken up from his daydream by a deep voice.

as soon as the boy lifted his head to look at the person that has disturbed him, his cheeks coloured a light pink.

"and what if, jeno?"

the boy chuckled.

"i'd be glad." he replied, coming to sit next to jaemin on the couch, making jaemin roll his eyes. "so? what are we doing?"

"i was doing good thinking about my life on my own." jaemin replied.

jeno raised a brow, a smirk appearing on his lips.

"okay." he told. "i'll go and have fun with renjun then." he said, standing up.

however, he was stopped in his tracks by jaemin who had suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"stay here with me, please..." he whispered with his head lowered.

jeno smiled brightly, taking a sit back on the couch, next to jaemin.

"you spend all your time with renjun..." jaemin pouted leaning against jeno's shoulder.

"he's a very good friend of mine." jeno replied, unconsciously pushing away the thought of him and renjun sharing a kiss, years ago.

"am i not?" jaemin asked, his pout growing even more, making jeno melt.

"i don't know..." jeno chuckled. "are you a very good friend of mine...? or are you more than that...?

jeno looked at jaemin whose eyes were shining in happiness and excitement.

it truly was a cute sight to see.

"yes... more." jeno replied with a smile.

jaemin laid down on the sofa, resting his head on jeno's lap as jeno brushed his hair out of his face.

the two boys didn't exchange more words.

jaemin felt completely at ease where he was at the moment.

it had almost made him forget about his heart.
